This thread is for all who are contemplating quitting ECC. I have been here for over a year and seen so many times when someone rage quits and then wishes to return and finds their items and towns are gone, so here is what I am offering: Before you leave, you can add me as owner to your town(s) so that it may not be claimed by anyone else. I will store all your items in chests and cash in signs until you say you are to return. The only thing I ask is for a small fee based on the assets you currently have and that we establish a reasonable time limit for your return, or, that items will be forfeited and proceeds used as I deem fit - more than likely to provide more services and resources for builders and residents who really need them. I will agree to a contract if we are able to come to terms. Even better, think seriously if this is really what you want to do - it would be better to keep you as contributing member of ECC. This is very kind of you . However I have already done just this with the exception of /cremoveall /lwc confirm so if you find one of my towns and someone else hasn't already locked my chests you are free to take from them. I have however ensured that no one will be able to town claim my towns . Admiral you are such a great person and I hope you continue to enjoy the server, and I would like it known that I did not leave because of the Revan/softly stuff I left for other concerns that as a Staff member just were too stressful and I do not think that anything that is supposed to be fun and relaxing be stressful. I won't go into details, but I will pop in here and there to say hi. I am sorry I cannot do your lwc's anymore, but there are still other great staff that will handle them
@HCPillarofFire but... but... you still need to stay and play without the stress of being staff. You have been an inspiration to me and I have appreciated our talks when you have not been too busy. I remember working for you clearing some huge town to bedrock - one chunk for $1500 if I remember right. All was good except the lava I appreciate your offering but am really just trying to help keep members from regretting if they leave and decide to come back as I know that their items will be safe with me per the terms we work out. I am glad your towns are safe! Please say hello whenever you get a chance - it will always be good to talk to you - Best of luck with your studies and know that I appreciate everything you have done for me.

Thank you for considering this offer - but I am sure you understand it is my heartfelt hope that you will continue on - we need awesome players such as yourself to continue to play. I only decided to do this after seeing so many players leave and then decide to return, having lost everything. I personally believe that many players realize after they leave what a great community this really can be and decide to come back because they miss their friends - and I think it is very hard to replace the "family" feeling that is just not there on so many other servers. Of course with any family - there are good times and rough times - that is what makes it a family For the record, I hope you decide NOT to take me up on my offer, however, my word is good and I will honor my commitments if that is what you choose.

Thank you for your response - I have seen far too many instances where this has happened and thought this would maybe help someone decide to come back and join the community again and not have to start all over again.
