I think 1k x 1k centered on spawn?

Maybe 1k blocks is a little large for center spawn? I suffer trying to walk 200 blocks across a town

 

Maybe the 1k x 1k would be ok if the ability to use /wild is implemented

 

It is due to how singleplayer works, when the server auto resets on sundays it makes the spawn in a random area that is within the 1000x1000, which is why 1000x1000 is protected. It is just something that will have to be dealt with for VMR to be completely automatic.

 

/wild isn't vanilla

while i still think 1k is entirely too large /wild would be a nightmare with no world boundaries

 

Yeah I hear you, but at least with /wild, it gives essentially everybody an equal chance at an “unaltered area”. The drawback is the whole PvP aspect tho and the fact that /wild is not vanilla.

/sell doesn’t affect game play and is part of the game mode.

 

1k is nothing.

1. Click F3.
2. Find the coordinate nearest 500/-500. (Spawn is usually around 260/-260 on the X or Y).
3. Travel 240 blocks towards your nearest 500/-500
4. Play VMR.

PS: To everyone, /wild will NEVER happen on VMR. The discussion regarding /wild is pointless, just saying.
