On average, it takes you about 12 kills with a looting 3 sword to get a single skull. For this scenario, let’s say that’s what your luck is. 12 kills for a head. That means it takes you 36 kills to get three of your wither skeleton heads. Now, let’s say you have infinite god apples and you can easily destroy a single wither in 45 seconds. You will have to destroy the wither 10,000 times to get these netherstars, which is 450,000 seconds (125 hours) just spent on killing the wither. Now let’s head back to the wither skeletons. You will need to kill 360,000 wither skeletons on average with the decent luck of 12 kills per head. The average time to kill a wither skeleton is two critical hits with a max sword, so about 1.25 seconds per kill. This means you will be spending 450,000 seconds (125 hours) spent on killing the skeletons (keep in mind that this scenario is also perfect conditions and you wouldn’t have blazes shooting at you and crap like that). During your adventures, on average, you will also use the durability of 29 unbreaking 3, looting 3, smite 5 swords. Let’s be extremely nice and say you only spent 10,000 exp on these incredibly lucky enchantments, and it didn’t take you way more than that like a normal scenario. Also let’s say that you have a surplus of baby zombies stocked up (12 exp per kill) and you end up killing around 834 baby zombies to get your perfect enchants, now that you’ve spent your time on that, you’re ready to kill the wither! Perfect conditions you’ll spend a weak 300 hours (12.5 days) grinding to get 10,000 nether stars. Honestly, I just calculated a bunch of stuff and most of my math is probably wrong, but this is with perfect conditions, and obviously with these conditions, you would be better off buying yourself a powerball ticket or 5 and winning them all. Edit: I forgot about the beacons. For the beacons you will need 30,000 obsidian, and 50,000 glass blocks. To smelt one block of sand it takes 10 seconds, let’s say you’re smelting 20 pieces of sand at the same time, 2 glass per second. It will take 25,000 seconds (about 7 hours) to smelt all of your glass. In that time you will also consume 500 buckets full of lava. It takes 2.55 seconds to break one obsidian, so it will take you 76,500 seconds (21.25 hours) to break all of your obsidian. In VMR I’m not quite sure if you could make an instant craft macro, but because of the normal crafting let’s say it just takes you an hour to craft them all. After all this you’re looking at about 29 hours of grabbing blocks, and adding our perfect conditions of 300 hours, you’ll be looking at about 13.7 days of labor in unrealistic conditions. tldr; This achievement needs to be adjusted
Gotta have some grind but I don't want to spend 600 hours alone getting nether stars to complete the booklet.
It would take well over 600 hours, I provided unrealistic conditions, I’m not at home right now so I did what I could with set conditions rather than actual conditions.
