In order to get a music disc, you need a skeleton to kill a creeper. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, it’s not that easy. There are many confounding factors that makes getting 10k of a certain disc Impossible (such as the dropping of these 10 discs being random). In order to get 10k of one type of disc, you would most likely need to kill a creeper with a skeleton somewhere between 10k-100k times (with the realistic (or mean) amount being closer to 50k Times).​

Additional Information:

I think it would be reasonable to have each of the ten remaining discs be 100 or 200 before achieving mastery of that item as it will still be an arduous task, but less impossible.​
