It is bad enough that we have to listen to obnoxious noises when people enter vent or your channel but now we have people that are using other peoples names. It is simply trolling by having to listen to 6 seconds of chat when someone enters the room but not we have people impersonating people which should not be allowed to continue. But you might say "newarrior you can turn that option off". Why should I have to turn peoples trolling off there are many good reasons to be able to see who comes and goes in your channel and in vent.
Last I knew Staff would warn/kick/etc. for anyone using an obnoxious phonetic or a phonetic with someone's name. Not sure if it was ever a written rule, but during my times of activity, it wasn't allowed. Problem is, many staff members probably don't have phonetics on.
If this is happening you should contact a staff member who is on vent and make a complaint asap. Due to the nature of these complaints Staff need to be contacted immediately or nothing can be done as the user can just log off unless you are willing to screen shot your desktop and upload it.
