So I was just wondering if people used eff7 in mining world (since you don't get xp from silk touching ores am I correct?) Cos usually I just use my eff7 in main world to get ores, then bring them to mining world to mine them with my maxed fort to get the xp and minerals. Or do people just mine ores with eff7 in mining world and then fortune them? Wouldn't it be easier to just fortune as you go? I don't really know whats the best way to use my pickaxes hahaha :/
When I had my eff7 I would use it for stone, iron, gold and emerald. I would switch to my fortune 3 for coal, redstone, lapis and diamond. When you consider the time taken to silk in the main world and then fortune in mining your just as well doing it as you go imo
The only problem I have with that is that I like to do my mining in trips, not a continuous going on.
I mine everything with the eff7 and place the ores to re-mine them using superbreaker. This saves time switching picks and dealing with cobble. I usually mine until my whole inventory is full stacks of ores. I leave the coal and stone behind unless I need stone for a project.
I always use an eff7 in the mining world, and bring a max fortune with me. I get all the coal ore and stuff too, and when my inventory if mostly full I just place all the ores and fortune it there.
Same as ChargerBoltz. I take a max fortune and the eff7 into the mining world, and just run at an angle, swaying back and forth. I fortune all coal ore on the spot and have macros to sell undesirable items. I then either condense the coal and put it into my shop, or sell it on the spot. Same with stone, as I usually make it into bricks for town projects or bulk sell it. After my inventory is full of ores (or at about 39 levels of exp, whichever comes first), I do /top and fortune all ores. All the goods are either condensed, put in spawnshop signs, or sold in the market. EXP is immediately put into my sign at station10, unless I am in need of cash or an enchantment, in which case I sell to other players. EXP turns over fast, so I never really have an issue with too much stock. Doing so, I can make about 27k/hour after a reset, tailing off to 18-19k by the end of the month. Pretty solid.
