Could you please state your side of this story?

 

On the Fairport Eviction Notice, i stated that bobman3355 had until sep 18 to gather his things. Both of his properties were not built by him, so i removed him from the town, but he can still gather his things in chests. Also, the people who i evicted that built their homes are not removed.

Is there a clause in the town rules which states that residents are not the rightful owners of the building materials used to construct their property? If there is no such clause, then I will be requiring you to give @bobman3355 his permissions back so that he can reclaim his building materials. Unless you state it otherwise in the town rules, when you sell a house you are actually selling that house and all the materials used to construct it.

 

Can you clarify? Did he tell you that you did not own the materials or that you could not modify it?

needed to mail me, and list on a billboard inside of the cocoa bean farm, all of the current workers of the cocoa bean farm that he added. He failed to add one person, and it was either alphabravo2 or sal704. He, technically breached the contract, but instead of posting it in a complaint to get him banned, i would like him to just take his stuff and leave. And by stuff i mean items in his chests. I would love to easily resolve this, as i need to keep working on my town.

Also, he failed to mail me the name of any player he added, and as stated in the contract, that was required.

 

Look, you didn't construct your buildings, and the people who did make them were dear friends of mine, @Queenofellesmera and @xmcnastyx, they'll probably never see this, though, because they've been on/off for awhile now and aren't really active any more. All i want is for you to gather your chest items and leave the town.

 

We are currently discussing this case. In the meanwhile, @webman11123 must not damage the properties. Do not alter them in any way.

 

I am also going to dismiss the contract evidence. It was never approved and therefore does not hold any legal weight.

 

After much thought, I have decided that the properties are rightfully bobman's. You sold bobman property without specifying whether he owned the building materials. Therefore, by default, the building materials would become the rightful property of bobman. If I sell a house, then I am actually selling that house and everything that comes with it. If you don't want your buyers to own the materials, then you have to include that clause in the town rules.

However, I also understand that webman's dear friends constructed the properties in dispute, and that these properties have sentimental value for him. So I highly recommend that bobman does not simply destroy them for the sake of destroying them. Such an action would be very mean spirited and spiteful. But it is within your legal right to do so, bobman. I only recommend that you do the right thing.

@webman11123 must give @bobman3355 permissions until September 18.
