I downloaded it, and it opens the launcher, however, whenever I try to click play, it attempts to load it, then doesn't do anything and comes up as a crash. Anyone know how to fix this? I am looking to come back to playing aswell as pay wolf the 450k I owe him.
Go to %appdata%, backup your worlds and remove .minecraft. Uninstall minecraft as well, and then reinstall. All should be good then.
Trying to update Java, to see if that was the issue, as it's still doing it. This is the crash report: ---- Minecraft Crash Report ---- // Don't do that. Dontback up anything... delete the .minecraft folder directly from the c drive... click on downloaded complete reinstall of Minecraft... there is something conflicting with your gpx drivers
Seems to be something about your video card, try updating your video drivers and also change your resolution.
search drivers, click on "update and delete drivers" or whatever, click on display adapters, update those drivers with the button
Found that post as I had to leave, I get home in about 1 1/2 hours so I’ll try to uninstall and re install the drivers
Could you list the specs of your pc? Also, it wouldn't hurt to use a different profile to attempt to run minecraft. Download the latest optifine and give it a go.
Do I uninstall minecraft and download that? and yes, using updated Java, I even tried going back to the one that worked for the old minecraft and it didn't work.
