Yeah, so I know this has very little impact but currently the price is for torches is a little bit irrational. Currently, the server store sells 1,000 torches for a meager $200, so you might be wondering what's wrong with this.. Well, players can currently sell coal to the server for $1 each. Therefore, with the current prices it is more efficient to sell coal to the server then go to the server store and buy your torches. Don't you think people making their own torches with coal should be more price efficient? So basically if you had 250 coal. You would need to get sticks to make 1,000 torches. Or you could sell it to the server for $250. Then buy the 1,000 torches for $200. Ultimately, saving you $50 and 250 sticks.
Its probably impossible to balance it out to the finite detail of something like this. Also If you are new to the server, that $50 bucks is a big deal. Made maybe half my money selling coal to the server when I first started and its a decent money maker for the miners. Once you have been around long enough to become a resident or mayor like yourself you can decide if you feel like using it or selling it and the money isn't a big deal.
Well, I mean if the torch value was increased slightly and then sold in the server store to be equal to what coal is sold for divided by 4 plus what a stick is sold for. I don't see how that would be throwing the balance off and would just be a simple change.. And yes I know $50 isn't a whole lot, but when an opportunity presents itself to further balance the game why not take it?
