I just finished this on my buddy's realm. I had a lot of open space and used creative mode for all of it. 5 hours of teraforming 8 hours of building Any thoughts? How can i improve the build? The interior is also done and i'll be posting screens of that too
Looks very detailed, maybe add a bit of variations with different blocks other than stone. Its the little things that matter when it comes to building
i was trying to stay with a grey and blue theme. there isnt much to variations of blocks that would work with it. I used stairs and slabs as well as the regular stone bricks
Cobblestone (and variants- slabs stairs walls etc...) andesite, diorite, cracked stonebrick, mossy stonebrick, iron bars, lapis, concrete/concrete powder, wool(but not too much- it’s kinda ugly) and more!
Looks like @LaggyTryHard had the same idea of block types that I did. Sometimes if you know how to integrate them with your build then they work really well and what I mean by this is don't make them stick out like a sore thumb but try and blend them into the build so when you take a closer look you can really see the outlined detail that has been put into the build. Hope this helps you out a little.
I had the exact same color scheme with my big castle, I think you’ve seen it before. Randomziing the blocks really does work wonders with builds
