Due to the lack of attention this thread has gotten over the past week, I've decided to just make it into a personal thread for me to look back on when I finally build this on ECC. This is what I've completed so far. I'll try to keep you guys posted with new screenshots after every day's new addition. Spoiler: Day 1 In the background there's the corner of another building I'd been working on, an apartment complex which I hope to build on ECC once it updates to 1.7. I also use the bright carpets as outlines because they're easy to see and make it easy to count the lengths of things. Spoiler: Day 2 Made some progress by adding the barrier and glass around the ice, as well as started on the arena walls and the jumbo-tron. I then covered the bottom portion of the new South Wall with paintings because I do what I want. yolo. Spoiler: Day 3 Started adding in seats/bleachers, separated them into three sections, North Sandstone, West and East NetherBricks. I then built up the South Wall, putting in a couple designs, the one on the left is the flag of my nation, The Summit Nation, and the one on the right is a crossed hockey stick and a sword as the stadium logo (it will double as a pvp arena when I build it in ECC). Spoiler: Day 4 Finally got around to putting in a floor pattern out of various wood types including the new 1.7 ones and put up the East wall with it's weird Stealth Bomber pattern. Also, I decided to add pillars to the northwest corner that hangs over the canyon Spoiler: Day 5 Got a lot of work done today.Built the West Wall and started work on the North Wall, using a pillar design with wool.Replaced the wool with quartz because a classy lady like this should not be deprived of some classy accessories. Added in glass between the pillars, might use stained glass on ECC, haven't decided yet. Also put in a central design with chiseled quartz and redstone blocks. Kind of looks like the X Games logo so there's that.Placed dark gray wool along the top, extended the bleachers out four rows, added in an elevator system, a club level, and an upper level to the west end.Added in an upper concourse to the East end where I would sell food, potions, pvp stuff, etc.Lower Concourse below the Upper Concourse on the East end of the arena. I'll probably put more shop stalls in here as well as chairs, tables, and tvs. Finally added in the front entrances on the North Wall. Spoiler: Day 6 Finally Finished!The Shizzle Center now has a roof! Used a glass design with rows of shades of wool. Downside is that it casts an annoying shadow on the ice.Nearly finished product from the outside.It looked kind of boring so I put these arches on the roof that connected the wool sections. Took a lot longer than it probably should have due to them being off-centered or unsymmetrical a couple times. The best things about mesa biomes are the sunsets. So pretty.Added in the lighting so I can actually see inside the place better. I might end up using redstone lamps instead of glowstone in some places on the ECC version.
