A Day at the Races! A themed event at /warp birdmall on the race track to the north (turn around when you warp in) Join us as we host a server sponsored event of racing, fun, and prizes! 3 separate events will be held on Sunday July 14th at 12 noon (EST UTC -5) with prizes for each! To start the cups will pay out the following to the winners... 1st place $75000 2nd place $50000 3rd place $25000 Side bets through the forums here is highly encouraged! The categories are horse, pig, and slop your animal! Horse Race: line up at the starting gate and show off your riding skills as you race around the track in an effort to be the first to the checkered flag! Pig Race: SOOIE! Mount that piggy and struggle to guide it as you stumble, goad, and beg your your mount around to the finish line. Slop Your Animal: You have an animal. You have their slop. Now you have to convince them to walk the track and cross the finish line! This race will test your skill at leading animals without a leash. Racers will be given a pig, chicken, or sheep and a handful of bait food for all 3 with ONLY 2 RULES! No leads, and you can't leave the track! All animals and supplies will be provided and exhaustively tested for purity and fairness. The racers...not so much. The first Anual Bird Field Downs have been run, the results are in, and well without further ado...here they are!!! in the horse race first place was a blow out while 2nd and 3rd were a close finish... 3rd Place went to @Gernen 2nd Place was @Skyessne and the the 1st Place winner was @1AndOnlyPika in the pig races it was a close and exciting race to watch everyone who ran that race should be proud as no one practices riding pigs our placers were... 3rd place went to @EtherealSquid 2nd Place got taken by @FrailDK and the first place pig whisperer was @Gernen the final race in our series was the funniest to spectate, but so infuriated even the winner that a good meal was had by all! 3rd place went unclaimed 2nd place was take by the most prolific winner today @Gernen with a chicken that stopped mid race to lay an egg...actually and as a racer! 1st place was claimed by a piece of prime beef from the sea... @EtherealSquid with a cow that well...quit several times! I couldn't take a picture because I was laughing so hard by the time we were done and got the racers slaugh...errr...settled in.
