After Much Deliberation, I, LegendaryTrio, and, rosypolly, Have Decided to Officially Sponsor the EcoCityCraft Museum. This town, called EcoCityMuseum respectively, is Dedicated to Both Displaying, Protecting, and Preserving the History of ECC For Future Members to Come. Having Devoted Time to Complete and Expand this Project is an Enormous Task, So We Kindly Ask that You Help Contribute to this Initiative. The Best Way to Help This Cause At the Current Time is By Donating Money, Whether Large or Small Amounts, to Speed Up the Process and Help Save the History of ECC. The List Below Will Show All of Our Current Donors, And How They Contributed. This Eventually Will Also Be Posted In the Town Spawn When It is Completed. Aside from builds, I believe we will be putting in some staff history as well as some player history if applicable. When we say preserve, I mean save buildings from being demolished by town owners (the buildings would otherwise be gone forever). (There was a thread in the general discussion of the forums that discussed two of these builds in Emerald City that were being destroyed; we are placing them in the museum). Currently we have purchased kingjames236's two original towns, hoping to find something of historical significance to put into the museum. Historically significant being that of for instance, the first spawn, or wewinagain's house. In this way we hope to allow everyone to enjoy browsing through the history of the server, and see how far it is come along the way. We will also be featuring builds that are "awesome" for lack of a better term, in order to show off ECC's vast expanse of "super-structures" for all to see.
I think there should be a wall dedicated to previous mod heads, one with current mod heads, walls telling when a certain major update to ECC was added and who was responsible for getting it added. Monkeyz may fling poo, but the poo may hold brilliant ideas.
Hmm interesting. Ill add that to the list of possible things that will be added. Thanks for the idea.
Don't Forget to Thank Our Newest Donors For Their Contributions! Thanks for All The Support Everyone! We really appreciate it!
I still say you're going about this the wrong way..... With your idea, you aren't building a museum as much as you are a gallery. Monkey is on the right track by talking about the server history more than the rest.
Luckily there is no "taking" names on ECC. So I see our problem is solved. Next time by the way I would love to talk with you and work something out without the threats of staff action. A simple request would have been awesome.
I have no doubt that stuff will be included as well. Right now we are just getting out frame work together and working on our founding mission. Expansion plans will go from there.
Wow, So I Leave for One Day, and this happens..... Wow! Anyways, in response to janc87 We just updated the staff, and Sputnick587 is our new Head Historic Expert. We are still formulating our mission and planning out the way the museum is going to be laid out, but staff we definitely be included in some form. There will also be town expansion so we will still have plenty of room to add both historical and non-historical builds. In response to JamieSinn, I might make an application process later on, but as of right now, just message me when your online and we can discuss the possibility of a position for you (As any help we can receive helps). As a side note, we were debating whether we might put in a section of staff heads, but Deadly_Reaper has already dedicated time to constructing one, so this idea is still under debate, and we can possibly work something out to feature his museum in the town.
Hothead if you do not have a positive thing to say about this please do not say anything at all. This is a very cool idea and is not just an attempt to make money. But if it was what is wrong with that this is an economy server so your opinion and point is invalid.
EcoCityCraft is hardcore economy. Where are the sculptures and painting going to be, pixel art, signatures, rare blocks, unobtainables. Together you and I LegendaryTrio we can make this museum amazing, I have to admit one of my greatest accomplishments was finding Sitomo and SkSoccers lounge of smexy. It is possible to merge our Museums and become 2 we can have many great things, one of my Ideas would be to exhibit some of my heads in yours and you exhibit some of yours in mine, as well as paintings and unobtainables, my Museum is located in WallStreet, welikeike's town. I have a main-street plot worth 300k. I get maybe 50 visitors per day. My heads alone are appraised at 300k+. This it all at the moment, please consider and maybe later accept my offer. I also have sculptures made by many EcoLeaders and GameAdmins. I am working on getting one made by Server-Owner andrewkm himself. I will not accept positions lover than Co-Owner. As I have experience monitoring towns and buisness.
New Update! Welcome Our Newest Staff Member janc87! Now the Head of Construction and Development and Assistant-Chair of the Entire Project! Also Very Important! We Have Completed Placing Dirt Over the Entire Town and The Town Spawn Is Officially Built As Well As the Town Message Board! But We Need Many Contributions For the 5x5 Town Spawn Portal (and a Town Warp for TP+ users) So People Can See The Town When More of It is Completed! Also Important to Note! The Museum Has Purchased 4 Additional Towns (One of Which Will Soon Be Returned to Its Original Owner) In order to Preserve them and Save them from other players which might have destroyed the towns otherwise. It is still undecided, however, as to what will happen with these towns once builds from them have been "moved" to the Museum. More Updates to Come Soon!
