Hello! As the summer draws to a close, myself as well as members of Administration and Staff have been hard at work to bring a fun and exciting event to ECC! Have you ever wanted to get lost AND have fun at the same time? Then this event is for you! Announcing the EcoCityCraft Summer Labyrinth! When: September 8th, 2019 at 4:00 p.m E.S.T Where: A special area has been prepared on MAIN at warp: TBA What is it?: The maze is a large region split into two main sections. Basic Maze: There are four distinct sections with lots of twists and turns. Keep on the lookout though! There are prizes in unexpected places. Or you may find yourself hopelessly lost. Vertical Maze: There are lots of ladders and staircases. You may find yourself led to prizes...or straight to nowhere. The task is yours to determine which paths will lead you to riches! Overall: This maze was not designed to be easy. It is challenging and it is possible. The maze has been tested by several users in blind studies to test if it is possible to complete the maze. Prizes: Within the maze you will find: EcoDollar prizes totalling up to 1,000,000 EcoDollars! $80 USD in Giftcard prizes! Up to 400 Nether Stars to be claimed! Max Enchanted Tools Various gem blocks and other valuable blocks, items and prizes! Grand prize of 2 Star Keys!!! How it all works: On September 8th at 4:00pm E.S.T, the gates will open and everyone will be allowed to enter the maze. Some loot to be found in random chests placed throughout the maze. Some of the bigger prizes are located in rooms with password protected doors. ALL PASSWORD CODES ARE IN LOWERCASE! You will need to guess the trivia correctly to access the room! Grand Prize The grand prize is behind a set of five doors. Four of the codes are distributed around the maze, with the final one being after the 4th door! The grand prize awaits for the person who finds all the codes, solves them, and gets to the prize room first! Redeeming Your Prizes: Due to the amount of prizes scattered in the maze we have implemented a system to redeem prizes after you have run the maze. Each of the ECD and Giftcard prizes are represented by a tool owned by @ClarinetPhoenix. Each ID is unique and recorded to prevent duplicate prize redemption. When the event is finished you need to leave whatever prize-tools you picked up in a locked chest and then either post on this thread the location, mail @ClarinetPhoenix in-game, or send her a forum PM. Please allow her up to 3 days to award your prize either via your in-game balance or forum PM. Though it honestly will be within 24hr of your submission. Rules: Certain commands will be disabled within the maze to prevent advantages /tpc /thru /top /j and /jump /sethome /h and /home If you need to exit the maze at any time during the event, use /warp or /spawn commands. Once you leave the area you will have access to your homes again. Fly and speed are allowed, although it may not be beneficial in certain cases. Revealing password codes is discouraged but allowed, however it may not be beneficial to do so. If you spoil a code for a user who needs it, you could lose out on the prize! All the password codes are in lowercase! All server rules will apply to the maze while the event is going on. Questions? Comments? Concerns? Ask away! See you all soon!
