I think maybe something builder chat is the only chat besides trade and auction they can use, no global until resident.
No, besides the fact that we are literally out of colors for chat channels, builder chat would cause more moderating for mods. If we downplay builders, it just won't work.
1) We don't need any more chat channels. If you want a chat channel without builders and with just friends, get a town chat. 2) Builders don't need to feel any more ostracized than they already do. There are good builders out there, ones who I can see sticking around becoming President's+ some day, who feel like ECC Hates them. Frankly, I'm getting tired of the Rankism. Yes, builders end up causing a great deal of problems when they first log in. Yet, lets consider this, if your parents put you in a room alone with other babies when you were a child and didn't let you out of the room until you matured, how well would that have worked? Lets be absolutely serious here. The builders learn from us. They learn from the regular players. When they get here, they are basically infants of ECC. They don't know that there are rules, let alone what the rules are. That is exactly how a child enters this world in real life. Completely devoid of knowledge about the world. Then, the adult teach them and they become productive. The older players, the higher ranks, we are the examples. When I was a builder, I learned how to auction by watching auction. I learned how to trade by watching trade. I learned the rules by watching Global. The fact is, if we stick all the builders in one chat room, they are likely to get worse. When one of them figures out how to get Resident, they are going to get into global with a terrible attitude and no idea about the social rules of ECC. With that, as you can see, I say no. Revanrose6
Revan so the solution is ranking them up. Already been there done that. I gave a couple of builders perms come back and I see grief. Its impossible to solve it. They won't learn the rules fast so just protect your stuff from that no need to protect the chat. I say just do /ignore on them. I personally sometimes leave global because of them and go on ch d as not many of them are in it
I don't understand your hate on builders, yes some break the rules but the majority don't, you just don't notice them as they mind their own business. You can't judge them just because of the small minority that break the rules Sent from my One using Tapatalk 4
yea i guess i was a little mean but it just gets so annoying. I come on to have fun and have a nice discussion. Then I see all this racism at spawn.

I'm not saying they should not be allowed into Global all I'm saying we tell them about this and they might start to make builder friends and only builders and mods are allowed to talk in it
This is pathetic. If you really think builders are behind all of that, your opinion is wrong. The overwhelming majority of the complaints found are not about builders. They are rather scamming complaints by Mayors+. Builders aren't singly the rule breaking problem here, it is also the old players. I know it's easier to take an entire group of people (who don't even know the rules or how to play) and blame ALL of our problems on them. Most of the builders are nice and are willing to learn, as you prefer to focus on the few bad instead of looking at the big picture of the good builders. Builder is a learning rank. You do NOT have to listen to them, but you can sure as hell NOT rant on the forums on how they are the cause of all of our problems. I don't see a use in it. Spawn local is basically a builder chat, and global is helpful. Don't act like everything in Global is needed and that builders need a whole different chat to see it. Global is a beneficial source because Residents+ who have questions may get answers by builders, and vice versa. Sometimes people have the same questions so it is a lot more easy and I suppose fewer questions are asked.
