I suggest having a vote reminder for the forums. It could give you an alert saying "Your last vote was over 24 hours ago." Or just something simplistic like that.
I can get on the forums, but I can't get in-game sometimes, like when I'm just checking homework, I normally check ECC first but I don't go in-game till later. I'm sure there are people who have a similar situation like me.
Also, when you're on the forums and you get a vote reminder, I personally would vote, I get vote reminders in-game but I normally ignore them because I am working on something, but on the forums you are just browsing posts so it's as out of the way as in-game voting.
Anyway, leave your comments / concerns down below :D

No. I know some forums with vote reminders and honestly, they just lag my browser more, are annoying, excessive, and unnesscary. If you really need to know when you can vote you can go to the voting sites themselves, or you could set a every 24 hour reminder on your iPod/iPhone, online calendar, or etc. It's also not that hard to remember what time you voted or write it down somewhere. :p

I'm sorry, they are already a pain in the keister in-game and now on the forums? I think that is going a little to far.

While this is going to get a lot of hate, I agree. Personally it'll drive me bananas, but some people actually like to be reminded because they vote and can forget to easily.

But by doing this, you'll have to put up with the same problems. Voting and alert not going away, ect.

I think that an easy pop-up every 30 minutes should be fine. Popping up once when you log in, and again 30 mins later. Casual forum-goers won't be bothered by it twice, and those that do sit on forums for ages, it won't be a problem since it only appears every 30 mins, not every 5 mins in-game.

Takes about five seconds to write down "12:37AM" or a few more for "Voted @ 3:40PM." Add a few more, and you have a Notepad document saved to your Desktop. One minute, you have a clock or phone alarm. Few minutes, you have a calendar set up somewhere.

We also have a free Voting App for iOS (someday others) that will be updated soon, and can track your voting times. People are even using it now, while it still has issues.

Not sure why you would want to make a lot of ECC Forum-goes suffer from either an obnoxious reminder, a reminder that causes lag and/or crashes browsers for users (old computers, laggy, etc), clashes with IPs and/or usernames (for example, D0rc, BLTwitch and I all live in the same house - I know many, many others do, too), etc. If taking Twitter off was due to causing lag, imagine what a vote reminder would do.

If there were a Forum reminders for votes, one of the most logical ways would be for it to send you a Forum PM, and it is based on your username. However, I am not sure if this is possible.
