There is no way this will ever be approved. The reason is because it will end up in a big argument/flame war. Also, what are you going to talk about? Most likely something that is against the rules. Also, I wouldn't want new players seeing this either. -1

If Facebook has taught me anything, it's that people's opinions are as offensive as they are stupid usually. I dont want to see it and I'm sure nobody else will except those that are stupid and offensive.

It's a private channel that everyone has access to. If you do not join it, it will not show up in your chat. There will be a confirmation message upon joining. It is not a bad idea.

 

It's not just that... I wouldn't want to see players dividing over stupid issues.

 

We currently have a politcs party that I run. We have quite a few players, and no one gets so heated that fights begin. It's not what everyone assumes what will happen. Because when you assume, you make an ass outta u and me - The Odd Couple

 

I would suggest that you make a town or party chat channel for your politics party.

 

But we shouldn't have to make a party. There should be a separate channel available to all.

That's the only negative / negating response. "Create your own channel then". I should not be deprived of the ability to not have an open channel to the disposal of anyone. If you don't join it, you won't see the messages, therefore it's private. You could apply for the ability to join. If you do not want to join, then don't apply. That would be my concession.

 

This is incorrect because channels without a password are considered global and subject to global rules. If guys really want to debate, go find somewhere in the main worlds with no one around and use /ch l.

 

I don't understand why there is a problem. More arguments and grudges are created when a discussion is not completed, which leads to forum complaints and friendship lost. This chat would only be available to those who joined it. And;

You just said here that all opinions vocally stated are stupid... that certainly is not true at all. You can also use the /ch leave ability if you some how find the internet offensive; which is really hard to do.
