Minecraft Name:Jwpwns Suggestion:To add a pvp world No i don't mean arenas Or the mining world a 100% separate world where pvp is enabled TNT is allowed and we can make bases have wars ect. I know this has been suggested before and people say NO its a economy server But the server needs something else to draw in more players as we know sg sucks because of kits a lot of people like my self dont play it and as for lag this really should not cause any lag and we don't even need to add the factions plugin because we already have mcmmo party's. Reason:there is really nothing fun to do on the server anymore it would also draw in tons of players
There already is the 2 main worlds. How large would the new world be? The more worlds, and the larger the world, the more the server will lag.
+1. ever since the new arena's came along, no one has pvped in them. I need something to re-ignite my interest for the server.
Perhaps we could even get rid of the pvp arenas and just add this? i mean i don't even see many people using the pvp arenas.
+1 this seems really cool, but not too large like 400*400 so people can run around and have room to move but small enough that people will be constantly close to one another to fight
LOL no one ventures into pvp now days. arena 1 is where all the nubs go to and there are like 10 exits 10 blocks away from each other?
I think this could work. Also, I see a lot of builders asking for factions. This would be *almost* like a faction, but players would still have a protected place to live, build, and not risk items.
The nether would be difficult, and isn't the same. In order to get what's described here, it would have to be natural biomes. As @sitomo said, it would be like the old Mining world, where PVP was enabled. In this world, you and a team would build a base. This base would be unprotected, and not have lwcs, the goal of the base would to design it to be impenetrable, to be able to protect your items. However, there's one flaw I see. This is people not being able to keep their items in the bases because it's safer to keep them at your home in the main world. Probably what would happen is that you couldn't carry over items from the worlds, other than nether stars. You could use nether stars to purchase enchanted items for PvP battles. This store would be at the worlds spawn.
Because of the safety that the main worlds provide, there would be absolutely no attraction to building in this sort of world. I imagine that once the novelty of it (should it be implemented) wore off, this world would never be used. It may be interesting to explore the idea of a pvp-enabled world that gave economical advantages, so linked back to ECC. Perhaps double the exp from mining in it etc. Of course this would have to be balance out, but it could lead to interesting gameplay where people would hunt those trying to make use of economic advantages in the world. More risk = more reward type thing.
Why would no one build in this world?? You would have to make bases it would be a full on pvp world you should expect to loose stuff in this world its pvp and personally i hated when mining was pvp because u would loose stuff when mining This new world would be for pvp making bases and raiding only not for builders to go and make a house there or go mining,
