Hi. With the recent implementation of EULA, the server is looking for plenty of other, EULA compliant features that our players may purchase. As far as I know, what I'm suggesting SHOULD be EULA compliant as it's purely cosmetic. My suggestion: A paid feature that allows you to have custom kill messages in SG. For example: Andrewkm <custom message> Bashdash100 with a <weapon> Say Andrew has a decapitated message... Andrewkm decapitated Bashdash100 with a Stone Axe! Or say it was rekt... Andrewkm rekt Bashdash100 with a Diamond Sword! Purchasers could also have premium colours with their messgaes. But for the love of potatoes, do not make PM pink an option. We could also have some cheaper selected messages avaliable for purchase (if you don't know what I mean like that, I'm talking about some already made messages to choose from). Custom messages would need to be preapproved like custom tags. I know other servers do things like this and I got the idea when I saw the new fall death message. I'd imagine it wouldn't be too hard to implement, but I don't pretend to be an expert with plugins.
-1 I really like the idea but I can easily see how certain users will ticked off way too easily and make a huge scene about it. If the maturity rises +1
I like this idea, it's a creative way to add some cosmetic features. But I don't think sg can handle any additional sodium even if it is just an additional "REKT" here or there.
I would buy this feature and set my custom message 0TheRedHerring0 exterminated.... to go along with my Dalek theme +1
Like the idea, but need a set of rules/procedures similar to custom tags to prevent "Dewsy f**** up Nicit" etc.
+1 I think this is a really cool and unique idea. I agree with this, it needs to have some rules implemented, or Andrewkm could create a bunch of messages for us to pick from.
Please keep in mind the second part of the suggestion - a selection of approved messages if you don't agree with the first part.
I don't SG much myself but I can see the cosmetic appeal of custom SG kill messages. The only problem I can see which others have mentioned is the salt-factor. I feel it would honestly depend on the message. I personally can't see getting upset over a custom kill message. I can also possibly see running an 'pre-approval' thread like we used to do with custom tags, if not just a selection of messages to choose from.
