I am posting to suggest a different set of punishments.By this I mean adding demotion.Demotions would decrease the offenders rank.For example,if a resident commits a crime and is sentenced to a demotion,then they get lowered in class,in this case they get reverted back to Builder status.
+1 I like the idea, anyone that doesent, clearly offends. This could be used in bad cases, instead of been banned, a second bad offence would result in ban. If you think about it the higher the rank a player is the less likly they will be to offend, making ecc a peacefull place.
Not necessarily true. There have been many Tycoons/ Eco-leaders banned, not just low ranks like resident and builder.
It wouldn't be fair to most of us. If someone gets demoted from president to mayor, what would happen to their town? If they kept it, it would mean they would get a new town when they applied for president AGAIN.
-1 Bans and temporary bans are sufficient enough. Some presidents and tycoons have been banned, and it would be really mean to demote them down a few ranks. We want their behavior corrected, not take their money.
I don't think you realize how hard it is to get to president... If a President were to get demoted back to a Mayor, I'm sure they would just quit after all the effort put into getting the 180k.
