Hello guys! I have always wanted to play ECC on my phone while I was away from my computer, and I have always dreampt of the computer version being compatible with ios/android (server wise [phones connecting to ECC]). So, heres my idea. PocketCraft Minecraft (Pcmc) has a program for running servers. There are many different businesses hosting. The pcmc website for the program download has a whole forums. On the forums you may download the program or download/upload plugins. You can develop your own plugins. Basically, ECC could have a pcmc version with donation features like we have here (I would think the features would transfer over). Users that are away or cannot have the Computer Version of minecraft will have more opportunities for playing. I have forum PM'd all of this to andrew and he told me to go here, so this should not have any conflicts with the topic of advertising. (I havent mentioned any websites/servers) Id love to hear your feedback!
@alpert3925 I see you have voted 'No' on the poll. Could you please elaborate? Why do you not want a Pcmc ECC server? Any particular reasons?
You have to vote Why wouldnt it bring any more donations? If I can get this much out of my money im going to donate more. Also, whats 'ECC money', and why would it cost that?
Well, maybe we could make the donation features not carry over. Or, have many other donation features. Not all features will carry over because not everything will have a use/be possible to use.
Since you are going to ask why I voted 'No'. I think it would cause to many issues. Just for starters: A separate server. Means separate worlds. Means splintering of the community. Would require a whole new section of the forums for PocketCraft questions/issues/etc. Would require the hiring of MODS for that version. I am sure these can be addressed, but IMO, it just seems like too much work for very little benefit.
No, I wasnt going to ask you that. I want you to reply because you want to. I just asked alpert, the first person to vote no, because I wanted to see some negatives.
