[Suggestion] Mining WorldPvP/PvP World

While not exactly the same, I think the nether shows how much people love to mix pvp with their mining.

 

Not a mining world, but make a resident+ world with pvp

 

I think making a world with 2x the ores with pvp enabled would be amazing.

As for a normal pvp world I like it to an extent. I have been saying for a while adding a real faction world with some kind of economy aspect would be insanely fun. Sorry forgoing a bit off topic, but I like the idea in its simplers form. (If that makes any sense...)

I like this idea because we don't really focus on survival pvp here to make money. SG is not the same as kit pvp. With SG you just have a set amount of rules, a set area, kits or no supplies, world guard, and you get money form kills. It's too clean in my opinion, pvp is not meant to be so nice and neat like SG. I want to be able to build my own base and equipment to go toe to toe with anyone not just die every time to the same kit setups.

 

Mining world was a lot of fun with pvp. +1

 

There needs to be some sort of incentive to go to this world. If it's just PVP it will be completely dead like normal PVP is now. Why would someone risk getting killed with no reward? Maybe having mining exp only enabled in this world. Just throwing out ideas.

 

I know, but I don't see why you would want that. I would prefer to just go the the mining world and know that I'm safe.

Builders would rage quit because people with prot iv armor and a high mcmmo skill would just camp and one shot them and laugh.No one new would use the place, knowing they would just die

He was being sarcastic saying basically "Sure, why not. Noobs love to die on sight with no chance. They would love to enter this new mining world when there is a safer alternative."

Or.. maybe not? This will just move more players to mine in Rising than already do.

This is literally the third suggestion of this kind, which is kind of annoying, but, I love the idea of a double ore PvP mining world that's resident+, that I can't help but say yes to it every single time.

Ok so here is my suggestion.... it is a hybrid of many before, but has been my idea from the start. There needs to be a faction/pvp world without mcmmo (that's the kicker). Mcmmo is was ruined PVP. Although I could care less either way, not having it would provide an environment that everyone can benefit. It needs to be res+ as builders would be taken advantage of. There needs to be an incentive to draw people in. 2x XP, 2x ores, ect. Also...and this is the biggest thing...nothing can be taken in or out. All resources are for the pvp world only. That is where the challenge lies. This would prevent abuse of the new world and would provide incentive to protect and pvp for goods. This would be the ideal situation and would ultimately revive pvp, however it would be a ton of work. Remember we are a economy server and efforts are always going to be there before anything. Imagine how cool it would be to raid a base and steal all the loot only to have it done to you the next day. That would be pvp at its best.

We shall see...

 

I think we should do this, but I think we should make it residents+ again if we add pvp.
