I am dubious that this will be added. I also don't know what kinda change (if any) it would have on the xp market.
I have xp and I don't want to enchant any tools. If I enchant that book I know I'll have that enchant whether I die or not
Yes, but there are risks when storing xp in a sign. And I don't know why you are against this, this doesn't harm you. If you don't want to use it no one is going to force you. You have no arguments, if it caused lag or whatever but it can only benefit players. There's no bad point in it.
Just giving my opinion on it. You are right though. Just think it is better to just put the enchant on a tool. Oh well.
I like this idea, I for one collect ebooks and am trying to complete a collection I also think it would be nice to have as it might increase possible ways people can sell tools, People with Anvils could then purchase ebooks and sell custom made tools. Giving the user exactly what they want and they pay for the item and give the enchantment xp required over. Rather then someone having to store xp, they can simply buy one with money. For an example, a Farmer, wont get any experience, but this method, he can earn enough money to pay for a personalised enchanted tool from someone. +1 from me.
I'm not sure why anyone would want to do this, because it will just end up costing more exp in the end with the same result. If I am missing something feel free to correct me.
You can read the comments, but it's a safe way to store xp, I don't have to go into PvP, or even mining world with my xp. And y es you could say enchant a pick but if then I need to enchant a shovel?
