Minecraft Name: Dr_Dragon_Slayer Suggestion: One day in every month or so often that most of the kits available are free to use. This would allow people to see if they like the kit and then make more people aware of buying kits. This could give more revenue to the server to make better kits and features. Reason: Some people think that kits are worthless. I do too! But maybe, as a non-kit-owner, we need to change our ways by seeing how fun these kits are.
-1 no I don't think this will promote kits being used. If a player is serious about donating he/she will.
-1 Honestly, if you want to test out a kit, you can: A.) Kill someone with it B.) Buy a single-use from someone else. This is generally much easier than enabling kits for everyone. Plus, if it became routine enough, people would either not play or not pay and just wait for the kit days. I have seen other servers do this and only dedicated players end up buying kits at the end of it.
-1 If you want to try out a kit, there are several ways to go about doing so. Enabling kits for everyone seems like a day where people who don't want to spend money on kits get an incentive. People who don't donate for kits shouldn't be getting an incentive. However, a no-kit day would be a completely different story.
Likely this can (and will) cause confusion for any newer users who join on that day. It doesn't take much to upset people. However, I do not fully agree with people saying, "use someone else's kit" ... That isn't entirely possible, as some kits require permissions you can only get by having the feature. I'm -1 though. It would have to be bi-monthly or something (so that people actually had a chance and it was promoted enough), but that would be enough to cause lots of confusion and frustration.
-1 This would probably fill SG's up very fast on the days that sg kits were allowed, adding loads of money to the economy. Not only that, we dont need a day to test kits. Buy a kit or rent one for yoursef.
Personally, I think if we were to add a way for players to "test out" kits without paying real currency for them, the best way would be offer the basic version of the kit with a fee attached and a long cooldown (1-2 hours, possibly more). This would serve two purposes. These would take money out of the economy. Players spend ecd on these kits, meaning it is gone. The ecd cost also prevents first time builders from using them without playing a bit beforehand to earn some cash. It will likely encourage more players to purchase kits. We know players will buy kits to get less cooldown on them, Plus and Plus2 kits sell entirely on this basis. Basically: These trial kits allow players to get accustomed to kits without lessening advantages, and adding in some nice deflation in the process.
Maybe a "One time use" of a kit would be acceptable, but a whole day? That's overkill. This will add way too much money into the economy. I'll just play every game with every kit available, like every other player. This would overall just kill the economy, and also just confuse every other new player on the server.
