Minecraft name: icecream0886 Suggestion: I had an idea of an ECC Fair, there would be plots on the fair grounds to either be bought/ donated for or whatever is agreed apon. There would be player-run games/contests or whatever creativity of games on each ECC Fair plot. Reason: This would be a way for the ECC fair plot owners to make money, and a way for ECC players to have extra fun! This would be a place for all types of players from new players to long lasting player, even risky players ( @matrix_rep ). This fair could be once a week, once a month, even once a year depending on (if this goes into affect) what the staff team decides on. This could be a time for new forum medals/giveaways to be given out. This would bring the whole ECC community together, and would make everyone happy! I really hope the staff team considers my idea! Let me be the first to say this sounds really cool and exciting. Maybe have some admission tickets you can buy at a trade sign to get in, and I'd say around once a month would be good. +1!
This is a really cool idea, only there is the issue of time zones. When would it be held? If it is held in American time what about the rest of the world? If it is held for a day or two there is the issue of stalls being empty and that wouldn't look good/be as fun. -1 for now but if my questions are solved (and solved well) +1

Time differences: Lots and lots of different people play at different times. Plus there is no such thing as "American time". Not a lot of people come "over seas" to play. (Referencing how the server is based in NA) A lot of our player base won't experience any problems. Also, any server event is held at a certain time, and if you can not make it, there is nothing you can do. The event will be held, whether you attend or not. Stalls being empty: The stall will not be empty the duration of the event. It will not be an all day thing, but perhaps only 2 ish hours where the users running the stalls aren't forced to stay all day.
What I meant by this is the time zones that cover both north and south America. Hence "american time." As for the rest, both of those suggestions are unreasonable. (Approximately) 7 billion people live on this planet but only (approximately) 916.2 million people live in the Americas. To just say "Hard luck..." to (Approximately) 6,083,800,000 people is unfair. Now I know that everyone on the planet isn't going to join ECC for it's virtual fare, but my point is that to have it held for only two continents is ludicrous. A way to get around the problem of empty stalls is to have sections of the fare for different areas of the world, for example the sections could be: North and South America, Europe and Africa, Western Asia (this includes the Middle East) and Eastern Asia and Australasia.
+1 to the OP, +0.5 to this because I'd like to point out that ECC is an English-speaking server, so I don't think that this many sections are necessary, maybe just US and EU?
Have you not been on ECC like ever? All events say "hard luck" to many people. If you cannot come to an event, we will no work around you. If the majority can come, then that's just what we have to do. The idea of getting enough people, with enough time, with enough money, to run stalls for every "section" of the world is the unreasonable suggestion
This doesn't necessarily have to be server-run, any player could organize this themselves if they put enough effort in it. +1
