Minecraft Name: Nicit6 Suggestion: Add a command along the lines of /rg demotemember that would remove someone from as a region owner from the region, however add them as a member at the same time. Reason: This would be useful when purchasing towns, as you must leave members added to a town to remove their items before removing them, however you don't want to leave the region owners as region owners for obvious reasons. As well, useful for demoting current comayors, but leaving them as members. Any Other Information: This could be limited to mayors+ like the add/remove owner commands are. Link To This Plugin: I think we would be able to add this to our current plugin with some work?
Let me get this straight. Instead of typing /rg removeowner Bob, and then type /rg addmember Bob, I would type /rg demotemember Bob? Hmm...seems a tad bit unnecessary in my opinion... It's really not hard to type two commands instead of one, I understand your need for this. It indeed saves my time in the long run, which is good, and it's more uniform, and more accurate, and specific. But it seems like extra work without much reason. Sittin' on the fence here.
Well, me and Nicit6 were talking about this yesterday actually and Nicit, I'm glad to see you made the suggestion . I don't see any issue with it, assuming it is possible. I think it would make things easier and simpler as well as make perms lists nicer to handle. You could also have a /rg promote member for making them into a co-mayor. This way you don't end up having the person listed as co-mayor and member.
That's a really good idea and these two go together. I realize neither of the commands seem like they'll get used much, but sometimes they would. Especially when towns that have a ton of people listed as region owners change hands.
