    Suggestion:
Lists that you can add names to, and apply the list as a permission identifier to several features, boxes, doors, etc.

    Reason:
You know how you can control access to things by adding names to permissions for something?

Say you have a building with multiple doors, like an apartment building, now you have to go to all those doors to allow residents access. What if you control access to each floor? With an access list, you can add members to this list (acl_aptbuildin), then apply the list name in the permission of things.

Say you have features of you town, like a pumpkin farm, and a tree farm. With an access list, you can protect the entery-ways eventhough the farms may be in different locations of a town. It's alot easier than remembering to run across town to every door. And what if you let those ppl (renters) use boxes or who knows what... it's not only tiring to run everywhere, you may forget to attach access to everything you offer to renters. This allows for complex permissions without placing everything in the same building, and yet again, multiple door issue.

Another application is to use a list in a list.

Say I have two farms and a portal room, and people pay for access to each. Thats 3 lists. What if I want farm renters to have an added bonus of the portal room? If I can add both those lists to the portal's permissions, then all I have to remember to edit is the individual lists for when people approach with rental requests!

    Other Information:
This would also be cool to function in mineworld or pvp. say a user co-operative "guild" formed, and made a psudo-town, or just a group asset staging area, we could use ID's to protect group assests and access rights (of course, ignore the breaking of walls).

obviously there would need to be a system to control availability of ID's to prevent repetition if ID lists are not region/mayor/user specific (I don't think they should be region specific, i mean, what if you mandate a syntax is something like "OnSceneReporter_list_friends", then i can give friendly residents and non-residents access to things in my town, and things I may establish in mineworld and abroad, even if its temporaty). Just like in /lwc, it would be good to create 'admins' of the lists too, to help with administration and execution.

Now, I don't know how nations work cause I'm not a president... and im still new... but if these lists can be applied to region access permissions, you could create a masterlist for multiple regions and give people access to a "nation's" features. If this is done, then lists need to be beyond user specific as multiple mayors should not only have just admin access, but there needs to be like, an equal "Creator" level access, so that if the original creator of the system is no longer active, the world can still function as long as the original creator gave "Creator" level permission to someone else... sort of like how co-owners have over towns, except this would let those co-owners now have creator/destruction access to all locked features, boxes, doors that the original creator laid down. Note, this does not have to interfere with the town feature policy like how future co-owners who become primaries can't apply for portals or pvp zones... This would allow/encourage the creation and efficient management of super cities.

This would be such a helpful feature that mayors, presidents, even normal folk with their friends, may want to donate an ammount to make their lives so much easier, and expand the technical design possibilities of this super awesome server. I know I would.

Sounds like something not many people would use/understand...I'm unsure where this would be in the programming department though. It sounds like if people used it, file space would explode upwards. It would have to be compatible with LWC's, with I'm not entirely sure is possible.

Personally I wouldn't have much use for it, but if I did, I would definitely use it. There would have to be a limit, just like there's an LWC limit. Perhaps unlimited LWC+ which includes unlimited lists?

At the end of your post you said "donate an amount" meaning, this would be a donation feature?

I would definitely love to hear/reply to some more discussion.

I don't feel it's too complicated for users to understand. It's just a list you can add names to, and use the referene list for lwc permissions to several assets.

I can see that not many people may use it if they don't have a lot of things that need to be access controlled. Maybe it is just what I've been exposed to, but do most towns have a perm access farm?

I am noticing that tower farms or such things often only have one door leading in... I believe that is a logistics choice because the owner would have to add/remove names from several doors. If they could have many doors, I believe they would... Again it's an access thing, if you need to control access to it.

So I guess the only place it may make sense is for mayors to have such a feature, because they need to control access for town features. But then again, it depends on the mayor. So maybe presidents should have access to this? I mentioned donation because that would be the simple way to say: here's an awesome feature if you want it.

Does lwc take a lot of data?

Well, president + would be nice, but I think it should be Mayor+ because I still see a lot of residents who don't want mayor rank or a mayor town. More perks = more encouragement to get a town?

But in terms of data, as far as I know, each player probably has a log for themselves, which includes all their LWCs.

But each new list/lwc/town perm adds a line or two in the data file. I'm not saying that this list would cause any more data then just lwc's, but...come to think of it, it probably would add a tiny amount because, your list is already installed on each of your doors.

Still, I've seen no one posting on this thread which leads me to believe there is a slight lack of support.
