My suggestion is fairly simple so I'll say it now: I think donators should be able to create towns in the new Rising world, and only donators for the first week or so. It would be nice for donators to have some type of advantage and I think this would be great. Even though donators could be able to get on the server for the first 2 days or something, I think it would be fair considering the "join when full" feature is kind of useless now, that we could choose prime spots before nondonators in the new rising world.
When I first joined donators got rid of things like the vote reminder which is sooo annoying it would be good to see some decent extra perks added like this +1
Hopefully I find one of those new biomes... But this is a good idea and encourages people to donate to get this special perks +1
+1 I remember when being donator meant you could be on for an hour or so before anyone else after a reset to be first to the mining/nether worlds.
Just being a straight up donator has barely any added perks now, except for /kit dsg and reminder removal. +1 Donators barely get any added bonuses with having given their own hard-worked money to the server anymore. I mean, back in ecc's hayday, I donated so I could just get on because there was a new person every second or two and the server was always full. We need more perks.
-1 Perks for donators are the donations themselves what more can you ask for really. We get our own channel, and extra rank icon on top of the donations themselves. That alone gives advantages. There is no need for anymore bonus's. Also "prime spots" is a suggestive idea, for some people a prime spot is a 200x200 area over water, you just don't want some person to get one of the new biomes before you do. Well besides that point those "prime spots" will be there much longer than a week so there really is no need for this anyways.
Andrew is going to auction off all the land around the Rising Spawn anyways so this may be unnecessary
It was meant to be a suggestive idea, because prime can mean different things to people. The whole point of this suggestion is for donators to become more confident or more excited for rising. Any small thing that is donors only can make a big difference on the demand for donations. You bring up that donations themselves are what we get. This is simply part of the general idea. The donations themselves all increase the demand for buying donations because unfortunately in this society not everyone wants to spend their money with nothing in return, even though some may. The more advantages they receive, the more likely users will end up buying. It can be beneficial for when builders or residents see donators get advantages, they may want to buy. Most builders and residents don't really buy donations with ecodollars, so any type of advantage could help. Just think of it this way- the donators are practically paying for nondonator's gameplay. We don't need a lot in return, but something basic like this would make someone satisfied with donating and may want to donate again. Will prime spots be there for a week? There are plenty of people who actually have saved up their money and are refraining from purchasing donations due to Rising. Considering prime spots is a suggestive idea, my intention, other people are bound to have the general idea. My personal idea of a prime spot is close to the spawn and in a new biome. New biomes definitely aren't as common so getting one that could be popular or everyone wants may be considered a prime spot. For instance, mushroom biomes. Imagine if they were in demand, considering the lack of them and rarity of them in a world. I may sound pretty wanty, but I think think a week where only donators can buy new towns would be beneficial to the economy (people buying donations) and also to the demand of donations.
Obviously, but there is much more than a few towns around the spawn. Ecoleaders or other users will most likely get these towns. It depends to who, but there are still new biomes to explore.
