Stop trolls on forums

I have noticed people who make troll comments get forum warned quite frequently, and have noticed several players get forum tempbanned... but I guess, trolling on the forums should result in consequences on the forums, and trolling ingame should result in consequences ingame.
I personally wouldn't care too much if a player was also banned ingame, but I think punishment on the forums after many warnings is enough.
I also highly doubt that it will end up being implemented, but I'd have to see a staff's take on this first.
±0 for now though. My opinions aren't strong enough on this issue yet to give a full + or - 1.

 

Most trollers are warned pretty sharp because either we stop them or they are reported by people.
After a few warns in a day, members will be temp banned for 24 hours on the forums if not longer, and if they want to come in game and troll, then they will be warned and then kicked and then banned if they continue.
I dont really see the problem here...

I do however hate seeing +1 on topics and staff apps, because i would like to see a reason. I understand with -1 sometimes as you dont want to flame people, but if your willing to gain a post, you have to put in a lil bit of thought into it...

 

He wants people banned in the game for punishment for there actions on the forums.

This wouldn't be right. Forum and game have separate rules and are completely separate, what you do in one should never cause punishment in another.

 

I find the forum trollers funny. They make ECC a good community!

 

That's not a troll comment mate. Its clearly a compliment posted in the wrong area.

Staff have given methods and procedures before banning people. I think its quite silly to request people to be banned for opinions. -1

 

Na those just make the forums funny and enjoyable to use plus they are no harm

For MONTHS minecraftninja05 has been breaking the rules and posting on ban appeals without having something to offer to help the case. If this suggestion gets accepted then please forum ban minecraftninja05 as a result of his hypocritical actions.

 

He is suggesting that people that do this and get banned on the forums also get banned in game.

 

Then ban him in game also!

As easy as it sounds, thats not the case.

 

Please sir, explain the cause. I personally am getting quite tired of the constant immature trolling and commenting where it is not needed.

@RaginDevonian said that some people need to grow up. And I agree with that fully, there are some people out there who need to act their age, and some people who act older than what they currently are. But age is just a number, and some people in this day and age act like idiots all the time, and don't take second thoughts.

I totally agree that age is just a factor in what constitutes maturity. It amazes me daily the trolls and how old they are - not to mention who has made the decision to troll.
I wish I knew the reason some players that I have respected have turned to be trolls and causing chaos on the server. If they do not wish to be here, then leave, and come back when they have matured - better to keep a good reputation that way.

 

What annoys me is, that staff let people back on who troll, and get banned again continuously.
