Minecraft Username: TimmyChoi Brief Description: Server underwent maintance and upgraded to full 1.8 server. However upon logging on, my water blocks and lava blocks have dissapeared. Instructions: Server upgrades to 1.8 and star blocks disspear. How many times did you recreate this bug?: Cannot really be reproduced, but I know other users such as @priMELval have faced this problem. Result: My Star Blocks have completely dissapeared. Expected Result: My Star Blocks which I paid over 500k+ should be in my chest. Evidence:
Mojang removed the item forms of these blocks as well as a few double slabs. These items have also been removed from the star shop.
So will there be any compensation for the ecd I spent during 1.7 for the star blocks? There should have been some sort of announcement for the removal of these blocks..
It would be nice if there was some compensation as measures were taken to ensure the value of the Melon Sword was protected. Whether it be switched out for something similar of value or something. I doubt there will be any compensation but i would still like something to be introduced to do something for people who invested and voted for this server to obtain these blocks. As they might feel slightly aggrieved and may not feel the want or need to vote anymore as there vote rewards will end up being taken away.
Well I bought all the star blocks with ECD and I believe I even had 2 or 3 of the same ones and boom, all gone. I dunno how much I lost, but I lost alot. If theres no compensation for this, I'm gonna be pretty mad.
I was under the impression that there was going to be a plug in that kept the sword as the tool to farm melons with.
