I'd like to request that the "online time" require be adjusted to something a little more realistic. I'm not sure how well this policy is enforced, but I'd like to point out my interpretation of it. "- Online Time: We expect all staff members to spend atleast 4 hours on the server a day - and be ACTIVE during that time. Being a staff member, and not being online for over a week wont allow you to keep the rank) If you are leaving on any sort of vacation - personal leave - let us know in the staff section with a thread to keep us aware of your plans. Failing to do so will not guarantee your staff rank. Depending on how long your leave is and the reason your rank may as well not be guaranteed." First, I think it should be safe to assume that most people have a job or go to school. This will generally be about 8 hours of a persons day. Secondly, people generally sleep 6-8 hours per day. The remaining 8 hours is used for cooking, cleaning, and socializing and etc, but also leans into the work/school schedule. For example, people need to shower, commute to and from work/school which is not represented in the 8 hours allocated to that task. My Interpretation of this rule is that you are expecting applicants to basically throw their lives away and dedicate every waking moment to ECC. I am not trying to put ECC down or show a negative light on things, but this is how it comes across. My $0.02.
