Who are you: I am Bobby (AnimeGirlWithPP). I am 19 and currently going to college for computer science. Most of you know me as a troll which is uhh... true in some ways. I play ecc for the community/gambling as of lately.

When did you join ECC and why: I joined ECC in June 2012. Me and a friend were looking for a multiplayer server to play and ECC caught our eye. This was the first server where we were greeted so kindly and asked if we wanted help. The community welcomed us like we were one of their own.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out: I have supported the server since I have joined by Donating and Buying features from others which keeps the server running. All I have really ever done major was lotto, so this question is hard for me. Around 2013 I ran a farm town which helped new players get money with ease. With purchase of the perms they would also get a plot to be able to store their items and what not. What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out: I have been a staff member for the server. I have ran plot towns for new players and helped them start out to hopefully keep players. I know I am known for a troll which would be working against the community but I have done good when it comes to new players and overall assisting others.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town: Well, I have truly never run a town and enjoyed the server for the town. I would like to own a spawn town and fulfill this. If i end up with a spawn town I will have the drive to make a town that will be worthy of being connected to spawn.

 

Who are you:
I am a 34 year old single father to a 5 year old boy who also loves minecraft, mostly the reason I got back into playing after being gone for so long.

When did you join ECC and why:
Early 2011, ECC was one of the first servers I joined after making my purchase and I absolutely fell in love with the small community it had.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out:
Apparently annoyed some users? Other then that I've been helpful to new users, given out free kits and such and helped with free plots in main for newcomers

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out:
Assisted in trying to make the server a better, more friendly place with less trolls. Epic fail here though.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town:
I feel like my willingness to give others things that they need to help get them started in our community and hopefully retain them as a long-term player would be beneficial, offering someone a temporary home near spawn would be a cool idea.

 

Who are you: Avowin, an ex-president supermod. I am currently in college studying chemistry pre-med and youth ministry (both majors)

When did you join ECC and why: I joined ECC back in 2012 because of my brother, he originally showed me the server. Although he only stayed for a week or so, I was intrigued by the concept of an economy inside of a simple game. ECC was the only server that caught my attention in a way where I couldn't resist staying with the community and growing throughout everything.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out: I believe one of the biggest things that I have done on ECC that stands out is my legacy of being someone who is always there for others, and helping whenever I could. My biggest time with this was when I was on the staff team, and if I could join the team again I would in a heartbeat (but unfortunately time irl has kept me away from being able to do this).

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out: Similar to my answer for the one before, I believe that my ability to help those in need and being there for the community is the biggest way that I stand out. I was always an active member in the community who tried to contribute to anything that I could, in the least bias way possible. With this, I helped grow myself along with the community to a place that was inviting to those who would be experiencing the server for the first time.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town: I feel like I should be entered into the drawing for a City server spawn town because I want to keep a standing legacy within ECC. I always had plans to build something extravagant for the server, but never had a place to show others specifically that. I hope to find a way to either incorporate an old idea of mine, or even a brand new one to the server (with the help of those close to me) so that there is a legacy for others to look upon, that would mean something both to me and to the server as a whole.

When did you join ECC and why: I joined May 30th 2018 and I had just left a server I was staff on for a good year or so and was looking to go back to the type of gamemode I always used to play and really enjoyed. (Skyblock)

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out: I don't believe I have done anything that really stands out, but there is one thing that I am rather proud of and it's the fact I am a member of one of the top 3 islands!

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out: I don't think most of the stuff I do really stands out I just do the things that I think are right, but when ever there is a new player I just try to help them out as much as I can such as answering their questions and helping them with any building.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town: I think I should be entered into the City spawn town raffle, because I am a very active member on the server ever since I joined and I like to believe I am a kind and helpful person to the people here.

 

Who are you:
I am @____mathias____, I am a 21 year old Ex-Ecoleader from a tiny impoverished town in Beautiful British Columbia. I was formerly known as bobthegnome1, and I am kinda on the fence with this name change, honestly. Although I've been here like forever, I haven't been full - on active again until early this year during a bout of unemployment. I'm working again and saving up for school either to become a GIS technician or a land surveyor (I originally wanted to go to school for Urban Planning, however I recently interviewed my town's UP, and it is damn boring and grossly political). I am also saving up for an epic road trip which I am going on with my dad mid-October to NYC.


When did you join ECC and why:
I joined ECC in, I believe, September 2012, although I joined the forums in October of said year. I joined ECC when I was in highschool. At that time literally everyone played Minecraft at lunch time in the library, and in Computers class. I was browsing Minecraft server lists, and after trying a bunch of servers out and not liking any of them, I found ECC. It turned out that an IRL friend of mine, @jwcobra, had already been playing, but I had no idea. I quickly fell in love with the server and towns, and invited my IRL friends to join, these included @milch973 and @ellrus (RIP). We ventured out from spawn and founded Allemange together. I ranked-up to President within like 2 months. To make a long story short, I have always been interested in real estate (and running an empire) and ECC kinda scratches that itch, and that is why I joined and why I'm still here.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out:
I honestly think my largest physical "thing" which I have done on ECC is Allemange, and its surrounding nations. I have 17 towns, and JUST before the archiving, started a freeway through the wild from Legacy Spawn to Allemange (thank goodness I got the portions through the wild done before build was disabled in the wild)! I had to claim like 6 towns from inactive mayors for this to be possible, all because I have always wanted Allemange to connect to spawn. I also have started a 5 town nation in Rising, the crown jewel of which is the Hot Springs Hotel, which I built. I'm really a pretty average builder, however I always put in 110% effort, and while not everyone appreciates it, I'm always happy with what I build at the end of the day.

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out:
I have always tried to help out new users, and old people returning to ECC after a long hiatus. I have done numerous /tpcoord's for Mayors returning after a long bout of inactivity and stuff like that. I realize that this is nothing major, but up until this year I have always just kept to myself and my IRL friends on ECC. This year I came back to the server after a hiatus (while I was in Twelfth Grade, and college) and started supporting the server more financially, and making new friends on ECC. I believe that me and my achievements stand out to them at least, because of my friendliness and trustworthiness, if nobody else. (Shout out to @KiwiAngelTwist)!

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town:
I have always tried to help the ECC community, and have always wanted a spawn town to make it easier for people to find my town. Moreover, I want to build something epic which won't get lost, like so many of mine, and other's, builds on the Archive server, due to just nobody looking at them anymore. I feel like I have never really built anything GREAT on ECC, primarily due to nobody being able to view my stuff, so I quickly lose interest, as main recently has almost been a single player affair.
Besides just building something awesome, I want to build a functioning town which people can call their home on ECC. A spawn town was, and will always be, the pinnacle of building locations, however I see soooo many current spawn towns squandered due to them just being an enormous unfinished build. I honestly LOVE the super OG legacy spawn towns better. They had players and as much of a community as any of the best towns on the server.
I want to create a town that is both beautiful and functional for all of ECC's players, and which benefits the server in some way, and to cement my legacy into ECC, and ECC into my legacy.

Who are you:
I am Jdawger, a 20 year old college student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying Creative Writing (and yes, I want to be an author) and am kind of obesessed over a FanFiction/series called Fallout: Equestria (thus the picture and the nickname “Littlepip”). I am a member of the Marching Illini (aka the first college marching band in the world), member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Men’s Music Fraternity, a part of the Men’s Basketball Band (top Athletic Band, after Marching Illini of course), and play guitar in a local rock band called Starlight!

When did you join ECC and why:
I joined December 15 2013 and I joined because my irl friend @oreo1227 suggested that I join. I did and was hooked.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out:
I ran two different museums (Coco Museum and ECCMuseum) that were used to house the many unique lored items of ECC as well as have a head section that had close to 400 unique player heads to preserve the users who play/used to play and share what they did on the server.

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out:
Besides help as a Moderator for a short time, I actively check the forums and talk to the community. In addition I try to help all I can with my knowledge of this server etc.

As for community ingame, I claimed the pumpkin farm, emerald, a while back that I gave free perms to builders and cheap perms to the rest of the community and hosted occasional community get togethers at some of my towns. Also, I donated some of my Building tips, constructive criticism, and downright building/land clearing/demolishing skills to many members of ECC over the years

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town:
As listed above, I still have many huge projects that I was planning on creating in “old main” with plenty of amazing builds I created/collaborated with. A spawn town will be a great place to direct players to these projects i am creating in addition help all players have easy access to some community towns I had planned too.

 

Who are you: KiwiAngelTwist I'm 34 and a mom of 7 (6 play on EcoCityCraft [I'm counting @koko_2022 ] ) and friend to most.

When did you join ECC and why: I officially joined in July 2017, though I had actually logged on to the server a few years prior and built a house in the wild. Amazingly, it's still there and near Appledore. I joined because my nephews, who introduced us to minecraft, play on the server. Now most of my family plays on EcoCityCraft.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out: I really haven't accomplished too much. I have achieved Prestige in VMR and only a handful of players have it. I was able to make it to Eco-Leader before the archive of old Main. I did make a roller coaster in my town of Faerie on the archive server that non-members of the town could use. I also made an ice-skating rink and haunted house. As a personal accomplishment, I always loved Appledore and was able to contact the owner who no longer plays on the server itself and am now I am the official owner. That was a goal I had set for myself when I originally logged on a few years ago.

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out: I believe I'm generally helpful when someone asks for help, doing things like building mob grinders and helping with villager breeders. I've adopted @koko_2022 and given him guidance he so sorely needs. I occasionally buy features for random players.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town: Honestly I don't want to build a random generic town. My goal is to build an amusement park including roller coasters, water park features, a labyrinth, haunted house, ice skating rink, etc. that would be accessible for all users. I would also hire users to help me with this project, thus creating jobs for players.

 

Who are you: I'm @block_crusher, a 20 year old living in Australia and Ex-Ecolegend. I was studying a Bachelor in Psychology earlier this year, but have since dropped out of that because of personal reasons. My past times now include working (Warehousing) and playing on ECC, which I have recently got back into playing actively.

When did you join ECC and why: I first joined the forums on March 27, 2012. I joined when I was in year 8 and still at school. All the kids were talking about this new game that everyone was playing lol. Pretty sure ECC was the second or third server I took a look at. There were so many players and staff members eager to say hello and help out if I needed.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out: I believe I stand out because I'm one of ECC's players that have been around for 6+ years. Also the fact that I have Prestige 2 makes me stand out a lil

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out: I like to assist users/new players who I see asking for help in chat. But other than that not too much. I mean, unlike some people I don't just help people when others are around to see it?

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town: I have always wanted to own a proper Spawn Town on ECC. I would like to be able to make beautiful prebuilt homes and allow active users to have free homes there. I would also like to revitalise some form of spawn marketplace and allow users to make stalls in my town.

When did you join ECC and why: I joined Ecc in april 2011 I joined because it was the first economy server that was different I liked the community and the style of the server. Back then there was and still is no server like ECC. I also i felt like i could trust that my work/time would not be wasted and that my builds would be around for a long time. Most servers don't even last a year little alone 7+years..

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out: To be honest i have not done to much to stand out. Although i did start my town lasvegas back in 2011 and created the whole idea of casinos on ecc .

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out: I have always tried to help players as much as i can in game and in some cases even irl.. I always try to answering questions when no staff members are around ect. Also I have always given free plots to builders in my towns to help them get started.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town: I don't think i deserve to be entered into anything however. It would be cool as hell to have my town LasVegas rebuilt near spawn to look like real vegas casinos and all . Also i have noticed that most spawn towns are for show or go inactive because the owners don't play enough. I would make my town a functioning town aswell not just for show. Also i still have plans to stay active I have learnt over the years no matter how much bs goes on I cant leave ecc I will be here until ecc is no more .

(Gateshead metropolitan Borough is a big place, so good luck finding me!) Studying Games Design, (More specifically 3D Design, graphics and research and design, last year we played with the unreal engine, you know, the engine created by epic games, and used to create things like ark, Fortnite, and PUBG) was real bad at using the engine, so didn't opt for it in Y2!​

When did you join ECC and why:​

I joined not too long ago, quite a few months ago, but my laptop was broken for most of it. I joined because I wanted to play on an MC server that is fun, with it's own in-game currency. I looked around a couple of server listing sites, and it was ECC that, to me, stood out most. The thing that I looked for most was, A) The server had been well established B) it had a lot of active users and C) It had an interesting structure.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town:​

Whilst I am not a long time user, I would love to build a town that would provide for both Newcomers, through my own housing scheme, and established users, through jobs and marketing opportunities. The town I have in mind would be fun, quirky and be in modern taste, whilst reserving some areas for business, amusement and decoration. It would also have a small farm. depending on the size of the plot, I would try my best to give everyone who enters the town equal opportunities, help and support.

Basically, My town would be a town for beginners, business and fun! BBF!
Also I love designing stuff, so if you want something looking cool and functional, you can always count on me, even if I don't get a town!​

 

Who are you: Quackk, 16, from Minnesota

When did you join ECC and why: I joined ECC back in 2012 with a couple friends. I just got Minecraft, and I had no idea how to play. My friends played this server and it was what made me want to get Minecraft in the first place. ECC was the first thing that I experienced overall in Minecraft, and I haven't even tried survival so it was completely new to me. The community was/is great, and I came to meet lot's of friends that I still know now. Never will I forget my first plot in the old town 'Savannah'.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out: What stands out to me the most are the builds I've created. Building has been a big hobby for me, I love to create detailed and amazing builds that I can see for myself and show others. Some of these builds include Summer & Winter 2017 build comps, Summer 2018 build comp, my Island nation where I wrapped a cliff around a 200x200 town, Crisp houses in multiple towns, and other really cool builds that I've done for others.

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out: Although I've never had an official town, I have been a part of quite a few. Back in 2012 & 2013, I loved helping players with their towns, and help new players get plots and started on their own. About half a year ago I joined Solar Nation, to help new players get settled in to the server, meet the community, and have a great time as well. But what I think stands out most, is the Building Business I created a few months ago. I have met many wonderful people through it and I've created quite a few builds for the community to enjoy.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town: The towns by spawn is one of the first things a player could possibly see. I want to utilize my building skills, and to my best effort create a wonderful town/build that will be a beautiful sight from spawn and that can benefit the community, and new players as well. Some ideas I have are a different realms of towns that will have certain characteristics that make them unique. And the spawn town will either have the Realm hub, or perhaps the capital realm of all others.

Stormogeddin, Californian Psych student, been lurking on the server for half a decade.


When did you join ECC and why:
In September of 2013 I had just gotten Minecraft. Unfortunately by that time all my friends had stopped playing and moved on, so after perusing server lists somehow I settled on ECC. Honestly for the first couple of weeks I was almost completely lost, and just wandered around, and I was honestly really having buyers remorse because I could figure out what to do. None the less I persisted, and after a few more days I finally found someone (Partyman) who showed me the ropes, and I worked my way up from there.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out:
I've done two themed builds, one in Ylissee, the other in a nearby town. The first is a fully walled in Mideval town, the second is a scale model of the One World Trade center in New York. Both of these are open to the public, and were build by myself with essentially no help. Also, never so much as had a complaint filed against me.

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out:
I have been a contributor to a multitude of programs which were designated to help builders get setup, most notably was with AquaLuna and one of her towns (Though the name escapes me) and Outerlocal, where I spent time as the "Quorum Delegate" where I ran the Zodiac Nations town of Sagittarus, which was designated specifically to immerse new players into ECC and Zodiac culture. In general, whenever I can I help, whether it be E-Reps TPs, or helping with major builds and flattening land for towns.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town:
If I were to be lucky enough to receive a spawn town I plan on making some scale models of cool buildings, perhaps the Library of Congress, which I would use as an interactive exhibit of ECC history. I also think it would be cool if I could incorporate architecture similar to that of historic ECC builds, I also feel like the space beneath towns is very underused and have some ideas regarding how that space can be proper utilized.

 

Who are you: jmichael214

When did you join ECC and why: August 31, 2014. I had only ever played single-player before, and I think I was waiting for an update to come out. I decided to check multi-player out while I waited. This is nearly the only server I have regularly played on. I tried another one after the Age of Skyblock really got going, but it wasn't the same.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out: I built a city called Lancaster (see signature block to the left), then it drove me crazy. I joined staff, and built a palace called Zenith (see signature block to the right) to have something to do while I watched chat. I was a decent staff member, but not a great one ... too impatient. I built the archive server's current spawn, and the Skyblock spawn. Pretty much everything I've done that stands out starts with the words "I built ..." Oh, and I got Eco-Legend. Not too many of those.

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out: Well, I built stuff. I think I have been a positive player -- in four years plus of often-active membership, I have never been warned. And once, back when I was very active, I held a fundraiser for players who had been defrauded by [not saying the name], raised $5 million plus, and turned it all over to the victims without keeping a dime. In fact, I think one of the donations was all the money I had. I think every single player who lost ECD in that incident got it all back. If I have a proudest moment on ECC, that would be it, not any of the builds.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town: It would be fun to come back, start over from nothing [*cough*, except this spawn town I'm apparently asking for], and see what results. I've been away from reliable Internet during all these mission things, or I might have tried one or two of them. You should enter me into this drawing, because you would stand a good chance of ending up with something spectacular -- or maybe even an actual, viable town. Enter me in the drawing and we'll find out!

When did you join ECC and why:
About 2015-ish. I needed a good server to play on, and this was all I had for a while. I was going through a rough time in my life.
What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out:
I'm one of the many people working on the new spawn. I have worked for many a player, doing tree farming, normal farming, casino work, basically taking whatever money i could.
What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out:
I Have tried to maintain a good track record of being someone who people can count on. making sure players are able to do what they want, within the rules, or course.
Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town:
If you want someone new to be running a town, and maybe giving them a chance to learn how to properly run a town, I'm your guy. I can't promise I won't make mistakes. If I did, I'd be lying. I used to be an anus when I first joined back before playercount started to decline, and when I was 12-13, I got on and played on the daily. I want to be able to help new players get into their first town, and help them start their own city when they can. I can promise I will do my job as a spawn town mayor to the best of my abilities.

I'm Nicit6, a 21 year old ex-EcoLegend majoring in computer science at a university in florida. Less than a year to go and I'm hype about that.

When did you join ECC and why:
I joined ECC in July 2013. I'd spent over a year swapping between survival and creative worlds (one of those I still work on to this day actually, maybe we'll see if my map conversion goes okay). After a good long while of that, I started looking for a server to join. A few friends had reccomended a hardcore PvP/factions server and I pretty quickly figured out it wasn't for me. So I went down a server list I found off of one of that server's voting sites and saw ECC. Towns and economy seemed right up my alley and it wasn't long before I was fully immersed in the idea, and here I am.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out:
As far as personal achievements go, there's only a few that I think really take the cake. Back in 2013 I purchased one of the far Rising spawn towns, the only player ranked below President to do so. I was an EcoLegend as well as the first player to reach Prestige 2. I ran a successful loan/credit business which ended up issuing over $50,000,000 ECD in credit.

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out:
I've worked on numerous projects with other players to help foster a community. Right when I joined I was brought onto a farm project that employed new players and generally got them started on ECC. I joined xpure's America which allowed me to meet and help out a wide range of players with a handful of projects. I gave JMichael use of one of my town chats, helping his massive Lancaster metropolis thrive despite outgrowing the limits of local chat. I worked to establish a builder town that was premised on incentivizing current players to help out and interact with new ones (the project flopped, however).

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town:
Given that this seems to be the question for "What do I have planned to do with it", I'm really not sure. I'd like to work with a handful of ECC's finest builders and see if I can't get them to collaborate or at lease see if I can blend their styles together so it isn't so abrupt. I also have really loved the concept of Joseph01234's Recours, mostly aimed at being a town dedicated to staff, so I'd throw some sort of easter eggs in there for staff's amusement. Also, if I'm going to be realistic, part of it is just going to be a monument to my own wealth, because I'm Nicit6 and that's what I do.

At my heart I am a creator and designer hoping to one day, own my own video game company. But as of right now, I'm a 19 year old computer software engineering student at the University of Alberta who occasionally makes random wooden creations like a jellyfish lamp.

When did you join ECC and why:
I joined last year in June and initially joined to just see how an economy server would work and function in a game like minecraft. By no means was I actually intending on being an long term member- but well, the server has that effect on ya! Before I knew it, I was able to use my limited building skill to please the community and grow it as well. Probably the best server I've ever had the pleasure of joining.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out:
I think there are two big things that I am very proud of:
A town sized build called Utopia for a very kind user- Krobkins. Its a floating island made to look as if it has just risen out of the ocean.

Secondly, my vault creation for Dare2Dream and ChundiJr. It was a ice themed underground vault made to look like it was hollowed out from a iceberg. It even has a dragon skeleton pokin through the ice. This was my first attempt at a vault and I am very pleased with how it has turned out. It even has some hidden chests!

Continuation of my starter town "Shoreline". This was the town I was welcomed into as a builder and I ended up purchasing it from the owner. I developed the majority of the town and even expended it a couple more town lengths down. Through this, I was able to attract many more new-comers to the server. We had our own little community which got very close, even outside the game. Although the others no longer play on the server, we still keep in contact through discord and I do hope we don't lose touch.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town:
I feel that on my short time on the server, I was able to make a large impact. I've made so many friends and stayed up playing way too late messing around, I feel like the server is kinda a big part of my life at this point. No matter how long I stay away, I do always manage to come back, and I never regret it. The server is changing quite fast and I hope I don't blink and miss it.

I haven't done anything nearly impressive enough to warrant receiving the town.

Who are you:
I am a 14-year-old, from Japan, living and studying in Singapore. Currently in ninth grade. I am an Ex-Tycoon on ECC.

When did you join ECC and why:
I joined ECC in July 2014. I had just started playing Minecraft and didn't know any servers. Thus, my friend introduced me to this server, making ECC the first server I joined in Minecraft. After joining, I decided to continue earning money and leveling up through ranks.

What have you done on ECC that you believe stands out:

Several achievements, like working my way to being on the Netherstar Wall of Fame, getting Tycoon (I can get EcoLegend as I have over ECD 8.5 million in my bank, but would like to save it for future City use), ranked 2nd in SG Leaderboards 2018 reset, and claiming a Legacy spawn town.

What have you done for the ECC community that you believe stands out:

I haven't done anything that really stands out, but throughout these few years, I have contributed with friends, inviting new players and helping them get around ECC, towns, and overall explaining to them about the ECC community.

Why should you, specifically, be entered into a draw for an exclusive City server spawn town:

I am interested in building a beautiful city, using suggestions and ideas from the other ECC community members to incorporate lots of different and unique aspects to create a grand city. I would also be interested in collaborating with other members of the community to work on this project. Another idea I have for this spawn town is to create a competition area, where I and other members can host events using this space.
