Nah dude, don't be discouraged if people aren't very respondent at certain times. Most people on the server don't spend one eye glued on chat. If you ask at a busier time I'm sure you'd get more of a response.

 

Well agent, I certainly don't ignore you, and I'm guessing not many others, if any, do either. I think a lot of people just don't pay attention to the chat, or don't have anything to add if they do. I wouldn't let it bother you to much. I doubt anyone here hates you or something like that. Just keep chatting! You are a kool Kat.

 

Its more or less the fact that you're a resident. The sad truth is, most people have trained themselves to ignore all text coming from lightgreen or white names. I can admit I have, i'm sure if either make yourself well known or rank up, you will get much more of a response from people.

I often don't get noticed either, so you aren't alone. :b And I am a Mayor. However, it can depend on the time of day you are talking, if those "super-popular-everyone-wants-to-suck-up-to" people are online and chatting, there's already a 'steady' convo going on, etc.

Meh, this is true for certain people, but not the overwhelming majority of ECC. Almost 50% of people online at any point are Builders, another 20% is Residents. That leaves around 30%, give or take, who are Mayor and above. So I feel this is why you're not getting responded to all that much AgentHare. That 70% of newer players are generally not going to be as active in chat as a Mayor. (or at all to be honest) That leaves the 30% of more experienced players who will actually be answering questions. When you take out those who ignore chat, ignore newer players, or are busy with towns or making money, the amount of people to answer your questions falls off a cliff. Once again, just keep asking my friend, or send a PM to a more experienced player you've talked to! Good luck :D

Dude this server has thousands of players and they all have things to do. U can't expect to have everyone falling head over heels trying to talk to you like some of the bigger players, especially with the reaident tag. Most people only pay attention to the yellow tags-president plus.

I used to get ignored all the time, don't think people hate you because they don't answer your questions !
