Minecraft Name: Revanrose6 Suggestion: Make an application where a GameAdmin+ will come, remove the locks of an item and move the stuff to a specified location that is not in the way in the town. Reason: A lot of people own towns that were not their originally and now have inactive owners. These locks generally become a problem. For example: I have a town that was originally owned by someone gone for now 3 months. His locks are in a lot of places and crowding the town. I feel that in order to make everyone involved happy we should be able to have locks 'moved' or items moved to a location where the original owner, should they come back, can easily get their stuff. Yet at the same time be less of a hassle to those trying to use the land currently. Any Other Information: Link To This Plugin: N/A
I agree with this suggestion. Although I have not encountered this problem, I feel as if I ever do, it would be a great solution. Having tons of random chests in an area that could be used is not only a hassle, but can make the town look "un-kept".
I'd suggest adding on an inactivity time frame / approval from the original Mayor/President (screenshot, contract saying town was given to someone, etc). It could still be abused if there are not some type of restriction(s). Otherwise, I am wholeheartedly for this suggestion.
+1 revanrose6 there could be a building somewhere where their stuff is kept, I have a building in my town after I get a inactive persons chest unlocked I have a building where if they rejoin the server I have their stuff stored
revanrose6, I love this idea. I think it would be very useful to many towns, but it would be a major amount of work for GameAdmins to do. Say there is 100 double chests that they want moved. That would take a crazy long amount of time. If this feature were applied I think users should have to pay a good amount of money to move the chests. Possibly pricing like $250 for 1 single chest and $500 for a double chest. Also, since their is a limited number of GameAdmins I think you should include SuperModerators too. If possible, the majority of chest movement money should go to the SuperModerators+ so that they aren't spending so much useless time. Lastly, I don't think the money thing would workout though due to the fact that SuperModerators cannot take money out of users balances (that I know of). Anyways, good luck on your suggestion I really do hope it somehow is applied to ECC. Your friend, Blowtube123
Good suggestion, I think this would be a great edition to the server's collection of "rules" (I use rules for lack of a better word)
I agree with this, but I feel like if this were to be implemented today, there would be a flood of requests and not enough staff to handle it all. You would need trustworthy people who won't "accidentally drop something." Other than the initial flood, it's a great idea.
I actually found my original owner for my builder town on the internet. He wasnt able to get online though because he couldnt recover his old mc account. +1 though
It's the same thing as what would happen with LWC removals, that have a lot of locks. +1 for me, I used to own a town where one of the original owners went inactive, and was not able to remove the locks. This definitely would've helped me out, big time.
Not necessarily. Where would we move it is the big aha... :/ If you can figure out a flawless way to move the items AND the lock, then this is golden.
