There's been a bit of confusion and speculation, so to make it clear: YES, you can silk touch spawners. (Elite+) Getting your spawner back does NOT require the silk touch enchantment. (see https://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/...ire-silk-to-drop-spawners.176513/#post-984547) In the NETHER, you CANNOT silk touch spawners. They will break. You will get back the spawner even if you break it on someone else's island. You can only place spawners on your island or an island in which you have coop status.
Need more clarification.... Placed I know... Can they be picked up with silk on my island and replaced if I want to move them? Sorry poke.. just though I would ask for the sake of anyone needing additional clarification..
Yep, you can silk touch your spawners on your island (as long as you're Elite+) and move them You can also silk touch spawners that are NOT on your island.
Poke - so I could place my villager spawner on someone else's island (presuming the perm me), let some villagers spawn, and then pick it back up to bring back home? Thanks!
@icbomber38 Made edits to the post above to address your questions. To sum up: You can place spawners on other people's island when you have coop status You can then remove the spawner and it will still drop (on their island) Hope this helps <3 (thanks to @padsen for being my test dummy)
What happens in the case where you place a spawner, and someone removes coop? Are you still able to get your spawner back or are you screwed out of it?
We'd probably take this case-by-case, as there are no defined co-op rules regarding things lost on co-op islands. In other words, it's a talk that would take place among you, the person who owns the island, and the staff. (subject to change, Skyblock is still a relatively new gamemode)
@pokeball92870 @JokerBoss99 I don't actually think staff are able to deal with lost items due to your coop status being removed or something like this happening. If I was to grant a player on my island with coop status and they take a ton of stuff and then leave, staff can't do anything about it as it was my responsibility to trust the player with the perms. However I wouldn't bee to sure in a situation where you placed things on someone elses island but then they removed your coop status, I presume it would be the same. You were responsible for trusting the player with your spawner so staff wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Just my thought...
