I'm fairly sure silk touching a sideways log wouldn't work... My next guess would be to turn one sideways in an item frame and then break it. Too bad I can't get on to test

I have over a stack of sideways logs and over a stack of different sideways logs where one of the sides is the same as a normal log and goes in a different direction to the other sides. They lose their sideways-ness once placed though... I also have 4 different colours of "oak leaves" I could tell you how I got them... But I like knowing the secret
