I am looking to expand /warp farm. FINALLY- as many of you would say! However, I am looking to go about this a little differently then the usual floors of /warp farm. I'd like to make these semi-private/exclusive floors that 5-10 users would have access to. This idea is aimed more to the hardcore melon farmers, but I'd be interested in doing it for pumpkins as well. What I'm looking for is- how much would you pay for access for a 200x1000 floor of melons that you and up to 10 (probably) less people can use. Some things of note: I'd PROBABLY offset the cost of existing members of the farm by 10k since you already put that out. But basically, give me any and all feedback that you can on this so I can start expanding the farm! What I want to know: How much would you pay for semi-exclusive access to a 200x1000 floor of melons which only 5 people can access? How much would you pay for semi-exclusive access to a 200x1000 floor of melons which only 10 people can access? How much would you pay for semi-exclusive access to a 200x1000 floor of pumpkins which only 5 people can access? How much would you pay for semi-exclusive access to a 200x1000 floor of pumpkins which only 10 people can access? How much would you pay for a floor of either that ONLY YOU could access? Any additional info:
as a pumpkin farmer who is already a member id be willing to put 10k in as its more private and would be easier. other than that it sounds like a good idea!
This is a really cool idea, as a pumpkin enthusiast, it gets annoying when the floors are crowded and no crops are left. ;-; So yeah, I would definitely pay like 10k or so to get semi-private access.
I love the idea of expanding /warp farm! As a person who saw the workings of /warp farm as an ex-resident, I'd be willing to start at 25k, even though I am working right now to obtain those funds.
I edited the post so I can gather specifically what I’d like to know. Also- if I was doing totally private floors- 1 person added it would be around 100k or I’d never make my money back in creating the floors.
How much would you pay for semi-exclusive access to a 200x1000 floor of melons which only 5 people can access? at least 75k, maybe even around 100k How much would you pay for semi-exclusive access to a 200x1000 floor of melons which only 10 people can access? about 50-75k How much would you pay for semi-exclusive access to a 200x1000 floor of pumpkins which only 5 people can access? 40-50k How much would you pay for semi-exclusive access to a 200x1000 floor of pumpkins which only 10 people can access? 25k I think people aren't taking into account the fact that a massive amount of users are active in /warp farm and therefore will be indirectly contributing to the regrowth of the private floors as well as the floors that they're using. That has a HUGE value.
Have you thought of a subscription service? Like 100k down then 50k/month or something and someone can rent it out for themselves/their friends?
30k for 10 people in pumpkin farm 50k for 5 people. by the way i think you had a spelling error on your final sentence. you put "melons" where i think you meant pumpkins lol.
While what killr is saying about the activity isn't wrong, it also isn't going to affect anything because they already have alts that ride the rails above warp farm to constantly load the chunks
How much would you pay for semi-exclusive access to a 200x1000 floor of melons which only 5 people can access? 50k How much would you pay for semi-exclusive access to a 200x1000 floor of melons which only 10 people can access? 25k How much would you pay for a floor of either that ONLY YOU could access? 100k
Definitely had not thought of that! I thought it was just fun to ride around. Good to know, though! In general, I get your idea, but honestly, when I was given permissions to farm, I actually felt special and, as such, I felt a responsibility to not f**k things up. I think the first time I went to the tree farm, I chopped a tree down and hours later realize that I replanted it, cause I didn't know how. I re-read the rules, looked on the wiki and was like, oh no I did a bad thing! I tried to go back but I couldn't find the forest for the trees. Or, rather, the tree for the forest. I still feel terrible to this day about that. . . that there is a blank spot out there somewhere. . . When you're chopping the 'kins, sometimes you get to the end of the row and you catch a block of wheat in the next aisle by accident. At least I do. I feel awful when I do that and I'm always like, oh geez let me replant it quick before anyone notices. . . Farm is like a national park: take nothing out, and leave nothing behind. Well, you can take out the produce, I guess. But you get the idea. But I think this is a huge (at least personal) value add. It's nice to know that people can operate on the same level in harmony. It's nice to be responsible. It's nice to be considerate. It's, shall I say, nutritious?
