inecraft Username: ZuluZu Brief Description: Seems the bees are stacking again. I named the bees all something different and alas they stacked on me anyway. PM me if you want to see this in action in my town . Here's a snapshot of the bees taken today Instructions: please review How many times did you recreate this?: many Result: stacking regardless of whether the bees are named or not Expected Result: bees not stacking when they are named different names https://imgur.com/gallery/stacking-bees-nR7JcNW
Looks like what is happening is that the bees are entering the nests/hives after collecting pollen and then they stack despite nametags after exiting the hive. We've run into it before, so we'll need to look into why this is happening again. Previous bug report for reference. https://ecocitycraft.com/forum/thre...tag-and-not-dropping-pollen-for-honey.219236/
I have added our previous workaround, although I'm not sure it will work anymore, please let us know @ZuluZu. Also a test from you again would be great @ClarinetPhoenix (via MS). If the workaround no longer works we'll have to wait for the developer to come up with a fix for this.
That's good news, it should be good on Main as well in that case, please do a quick test there to confirm the reload worked.
Thanks all, how do I get the bees that are already stacked to unstack, do I have to rename them again? I don't think I have enough EXP to make new nametags for all that. I have alot of bees. I bought some EXP the other day but it likely won't be enough for all those new bees. I see some of my stacked bees have different names, I suspect I will need to rename again? Let me know how to go about doing this going forward.
It would be best to contact @ClarinetPhoenix for this and see if she could help you in-game with it manually. There's not a way to manually unstack them by players I believe.
@ZuluZu @ClarinetPhoenix can you please test this again and let me know it's functioning as it should. The work around has once again been removed as the developer has stated there is now a proper fix in place.
