Minecraft Username: WickedHobo Brief Description: After a gairlyshort period of time placed repeaters are broken/dissapear Instructions: 1.Make a simple redstone clock with a minecart snd a detector rail and a few powered rails 2.Connect a Repeater/Redstone dust to a detector rail 3.Wait a few minutes How many times did you recreate this? I recreated this 3 times, twice with repeaters and once with redstone dust. Result: The repeater/redstone dust breaks and drops normally. Expected Result: I expected that if there was a lag prvention meausre being taken the piece of redstone would be replaced with a sign. Evidence: Skip to 1:30 here ^^^^ Skip to 2:40 here ^^^^
If you pause the second video at 2:49, you can see a sign that disappears again at 2:50. The first video's sign exists for 25 frames. So apparently the repeater is indeed replaced with a sign (apparently due to an anti-clock-mechanism?), but the sign doesn't persist. Also, out of curiosity: Since when do repeaters get replaced with signs? According to your "Expected Result" answer above, this appears to be known behavior. All of my previous tests since the clock prevention mechanism's introduction simply removed the repeater without placing any kind of sign.
I have got some comparator/repeater clocks to work albeit with different results.. what I have found is that anything around a tick/sec sometimes even slower can cause the anti clock message.. It does break both repeaters and red stone.. right now the best result I have found it using a comparator with 4 repeaters set on 3 ticks.. It’s about a tick/sec and has not triggered the break..
EcoCityCraft has recently enabled new anti-redstone settings: MaxPulses: 150 Delay: 300 @pokeball92870 if this information needs to be added to the wiki somewhere please make this change. Dear SkyBlock players, you must adjust your clocks to match the above settings. Detailed information on what those settings are cannot be provided by me as I am not familiar with clocks. Please inquire through staff who understand clocks. PS: The items dropped by these clocks are dropped in item form, not in "trade sign" form as before. You'll have to stick around your clocks to ensure they work. If a broken clock drops the item, and the item despawns due to you not being around, there is not much we can do as it's the new system we have in place.
I can help if needed.. I believe I have the timing down.. If you are having trouble with your clocks feel free to pm me. Basically your out put cannot be more then 1 pulse per sec roughly. There are a few clocks I can show you to obtain this.. if you have multiple outputs it can effect your input as well. Basic repeater with comparator clocks appear to work the best.
