Update 1 Basically I started an adder that will be able to add up to 78 (39+39) I am using binary adders not programing everything into memory. I have so far gotten the first faceplate which is what I call the part you actually see as well as the automatic reset and I added something to condense the number selection board*. The gray is basically my rs nor latches (they act the same as levers but you can reset multiple rs nors using redstone unlike a lever) and resets. The Blue (probably going to be changed to a different color most likely yellow) is what determines if the number is 0+x 10+x 20+x or 30+x where x equals the number 1-9. The pink/magenta is just the line that the first digit numbers travel down 0-9. The green represents any block that will be moved by a piston. The Brown will be what goes into my decoder and made into a binary value. After I make sure there are no bugs in the first component that I will now refer to as the Blue unit or unit A I will copy, flip, paste in McEdit so I don't have to do it all over again which would just be a waste of my time. After that I will change the new units blue wool on the faceplate to red and begin calling it Red unit or unit B. Once done with this I will have to convert all the numbers to Binary. If anyone knows a decoder that can decode four rows** like this I would like to see you post. Also I am looking for a better faster and easier to make Binary Adder so if anyone knows of any of those, please post as well. *I accidentally made it so you couldn't add numbers lower than 10. I am adding a new line to make it so you can add 0-9. **Because of the mistake mentioned above, I know have 4 lines of decimal values that i would like to be able to decode into binary. I have an idea as to what I would like to do. now for some pics:
what do you mean this? I haven't really done anything yet. Also if you think this is cool, there are people making instant calculators using a piston glitch.
