I got nether access not long ago and I saw no one in the nether. Usually there is only around 2-10 people in the nether at once. But the nether is huge and they will be spread everywhere! I don't recommend nether as a good pvp arena but you can join one of the 2 organizations (People For The Destruction Of Blaze Spawners and People Against The Destruction Of Blaze Spawners). Usually they will have people camping around the nether fortress and kill people who are on the other team. That would be a pretty good choice for pvp as it's kind of like a team deathmatch.

I have never come across another player in the Nether. It's rather safe actually.

 

I never even knew you could pvp in the nether... lol...

 

get it you can pvp when the nether resets thats when u see the most people in the nether or sitomo has a nether party

 

The Resistance will be happy to "accompany" you in the nether.. ;)

 

After reading this I have decided to get Nether access. I hope it is as safe as advertised. :eek:

I never fought anyone in the nether yet:The most dangeroust hing I have encountered so far is a ghast. if u r looking to pvp, I wouldn't recommend the nether.

Same here, only players that asked me to come to specific coords.

 

I have been killed more times in the mining world (when pvp was enabled) then I have been in the nether. That being said, I am still terrified of the nether and avoid it at all costs...

Literally, the only time I've ever seen another player in the nether was after the world reset. The nether is worth it, PVP isn't a big part of it. I just highly recommend Fire prot 4 armour or pyro +

The only person I have ever seen in the nether is a camper who sits at spawn. The best thing you can do to avoid being cheaply killed for your items, take many speed II pots and fire resistant 8 min pots. Use the speed II and the 8 min then run. Instead of wearing armor it would be much cheaper to have Fire Resistance potions on you at all time. They have saved my like multiple times.

 

There are not that many people to be found in the nether. I've had nether since I was a resident which was about 13 months ago and I've killed a total of 2 people in that time. So the nether is much more of a place to mine for quartz and blaze farm for xp.
