I also suggest the addition of 8 cooked salmon for around 150 ECD Open Discussion: I dislike how one of the most annoying necessities on minecraft is so expensive. There really isn't a market for food either- the occasional seller. 1 netherstar for food is pretty steep and probably prevents quite a few people to buy food. I hate being limited to 4 porkchops from /kit starter and I really want to be able to buy food quickly & easily, even if expensive. I don't care if expensive but $400 dollars for 8 porkchops is crazy.
Just did some basic math, and $400 for a nstar divided by 8 of any food = $50 per food. So the price is already around $50 per porkchop. As for the second portion of your suggestion, I don't see the harm in it so why not? +187
Every time a new user is told to buy food with netherstars, I mentally facedesk and want to break something. It is not logical. After the first time or two, new users will figure out how much of a "scam"/ripoff it is... And then wonder, "Where on earth do I get food?" (Maybe why they ask and beg for food so much.. lol.) +1 The price with netherstars is way overpriced. Even if it doesn't change to EcoDollars, the amount of food you get for ONE netherstar should be much, much greater in quantity.
I would have quit the server the day I joined had I not found a zombie spawner, I had absolutely no food, and the prices were too high for me to afford, +1
If these were the prices, it would be cheaper to get meats here than from other players shops in the market place.
It sells very very well in shops, including mine, at $15 per. They are considered rare items and can only be found a few hours after each mining restart.
I, uh, sell food. cheaply, too. Apples, baked potatoes, porkchops, soup, bread, carrots, cookies... pm me while I'm on, I'll hook ya up.
I just harvest potatoes about twice a month and cook them all up. When I see someone begging for food I tp them to me and give them a free stack. I never buy food. Ever. Sent from my NX008HD8G using Tapatalk
I use it for food, coal, sticks, wood, and workbenches. Several people I talk to also use it for similar reasons. @ the potatoes... Potatoes are decent food, but they are not the best. With PVP given another chance at life, having higher saturation foods would be nice.
I know potatoes can be a good alternative... however I still want to be able to get pork to recover more health without having to go to the market and SEARCH for porkchops. I don't see a problem with changing it. Just at least remove netherstars as currency.
