+1 rep to you peder5. Personally, I like the fact that you are selling the design and not selling the location or renting out a spawner to other members. I don't see you making an effort to help the community by doing the same as the OP. No need to comment if you are not interested.

Hey, i was just saying that there could be about 10x the amount of spawning spaces to spawn. Infact, i thought he was going to ask me how to make it efficient, and I would be happy to help
Shadow Sock.. this grinder is not efficient enough according to antcubing because there is not enough room as he explained... I was unable to make this bigger because at the time I did not have enough money to buy more water placements to make the area larger. On single player I would certainly make the area larger since i would have unlimited water. For drops per minute you get about 200 experience per 30 minutes you wait for mobs to gather. On other more efficient grinders I have gotten up to 300 per 30 minutes. Concerning mob drops you would get 40 to 50 drops per 30 minutes of waiting for mob accumlation. This may not send good but these grinders are for XP not drops.

It is illegal to have the mobs killed by something other than you, the player.it is illegal because than people could gain EXP too easily. It is legal if you have a method of cushoning the fall of the mobs to get them away from the spawner. You want to do this because only a certain amount of mobs can spawn within 16 blocks of the spawner. Than you would have them in a confined area so you ca easily kill them off and gain there EXP.
Acording to the server rules this is allowed if u need more than to hits to kill the mob. Thats what a mod told me. Other than that the trap looks awesome also im not looking for a drop grinder, but a exp grinder By the way 200 exp is how many levels?
Many mods have told me before that all the damage must be done the player. I'm sure who told you that so I would double check with the mod to make certain. Concerining levels here http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Experience is a url that will tell you how much XP per level you need. the XP per level is always doubled for each level so Icant't give you a clear answer. The chart helps though.
I was actually informed by a supermod that anything you build to make killing mobs easier by making them hit you less or anything is considered cheating.
