100%, sell me debt. I'll buy it. I'll concede buying any debt is a bit of a gimmick - some offers won't be terribly large. I'll factor in how likely I am to be able to collect and the timeframe required for doing so. Debt is an asset and can be sold like any other.
I’m curious how this would be enforced? Would both parties have to agree to the transfer the debt owed via a contract. Still a great idea.. Was just wondering how it would work in case I ever need to do it.
Not settlement but collections. I offer you less than face value of the debt. You accept because cash now is better than cash later that you might not even get. Hopefully the person comes back and pays.
