I've heard many people say that there aren't many tags for players. When I mean that there aren't that many, I mean that there should be more tags that can be earned. For example; there could be a tag for dedicated players or people that have been here for a while. There could also be a tag that would be bought with in game money, tags which other people should suggest because I can't think of any right now Maybe the tags would have some special features, if possible/available. A side suggestion I have - something to do with [trade] signs. I think that after residency is bought, people should have to pay for a trading license which would be a very small cost, but would remind people that they have to work for things. ANOTHER side suggestion that I've come up with involves forum encouragement. I think that there should be a rule that before someone is white-listed, they should have to post a certain number of posts in the forum. They would answer 2 questions in their white-list application; "Have you posted __ times in the forum?" and "Will you post in the forum and read important threads such as the ones in town sub-forums frequently or at least occasionally?". +1 if you like any of these?
I think that res should be raised and something that costs withen the range of 10k - 15k below it with less features :] And I COMPLETLY Agree with your "ANOTHER side suggestion"
Sadly, I think more tags would make things more difficult/conflict with stuff, or be confusing to put in. D: Would be neat.. Though, tbh, I'd like if there wasn't the "Mayor" tag, "Resident" tag, etc, and instead our names just change to the color for those ranks. People can always buy tags.. And if there were other tags you could achieve/buy in-game/whatever, then those would be shown, more for... Fun? -shrugs- I want there to be a tag titled "OMGWTFBBQ" or just.. something absurd. >_> Lulz (Mods would probably have to keep their default rank tag, though. -sadface-) If we could actually make a decent rank below resident that could actually have a decent name, and without unbalancing perks (residents still need more perks ...), then I'm for it. All of that doesn't seem very possible, though. :/ So I'm against raising Resident price unless there WAS a rank below it, and where perks between the two (AND mayor perks) were balanced evenly. The trade sign thing doesn't feel necessary to me. xD edit: oh, and the forum encouragement thing.. Sadly, I think it would scare people away. D: Some people are anxious/don't like forums. I do agree that we need something else to get people reading more, there just... isn't anything easy to do for that. xD
1.) You can buy your own tag. 2.) No point in paying for trade access, because no one will... it isn't that profitable 3.) "Forum encouragement" discourages new players. The people that go through with it are just going to make a few spam posts.
