New Melon Price Drop

Ok...if melon swords are worth from 300-350k... and pumpkin axes are 7-10k... shouldnt melon block prices go up instead of down? This does not make sense to me. If I were to buy a melon sword shouldn't it be worth like $2.25 for melon blocks? Instead of lowering it? Someone please tell me what the point of dropping the price was.

 

TO be fair, over the course of time farm product prices have been adjusted on MANY occasions.

As true as that may be Nico, I saw this coming, I asked Andrew once about what he thought of melon prices, he said that he thought they were fine because it costs so much to buy a melon sword but if enough people start to obtain the swords, he would consider nerfing melons.

Now its pretty hard to make money pumpkins are worth like nothing unless you have fly mining prices stink.... fishing is not worth any thing melons where like the last thing.

 

its very annoying because i've spent all of my money in these nether stars and now pumpkins can make more than melons in an hour...watch them lower pumpkin prices now

I wish I had my book of specs about how much I make with my farm... let me log on real quick and see if I can find it.

 

Ok, for those that don't understand the situation, melon blocks have dropped in price from $2 to $1.75.

This means that for someone who has fly it is now better to farm pumpkins and it is not much worse to farm pumpkins even for people without fly, some people say that the prices should be more equal but i don't think this is fair as an efficiency 5 axe costs 8-10k while the current prices for a melon sword is 300-350k, therefore it would make sense that more money is made with a sword.

I would suggest that the price per melon block is raised back up to $2 or at least $1.90.

 

I suggest the melon prices be raised not lowered, pumpkins make more than melons in an hour now, and considering the difference in the price for a melon sword and a pumpkin axe, thats not right

 

If melon swords are worth around 325k on average. And pumpkin axes are worth 8k on average. Shouldn't Melons be RAISED??? I would also like someone to tell me why they SHOULD be lowered

 

I really do think melons were at a perfect price for a tool that costs 350k but know pumpkins can make more money then melons and the tool costs 8k 0.o it's stupid. I was currently saving up for a melon sword and know I feel like buying n stars and making a melon farm was all for nothing.

 

Also... now my big melon farm in the making... and all the nether stars saving up... comes down to nothing. I give up on melons. Back to old pumpkins
