What part of EcoCityCraft is this suggestion for:
    Network Wide
    Short title for your suggestion:
    telemarketer restrictions
    What are you suggesting:
limit the use of the color purple in message colors as advertisers are using it the way telemarketers spoof caller id to pretend it's a pm. even if only in the /ch tr
Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
if it continues unchecked people will stop noticing pm's or just turning off /ch tr to avoid it.
    Other information:

    Plugin or custom addition:

    One suggestion per form:
    I Understand.

Having ads in purple is sorta the point - People want their ads to get attention, after all. What's next? Are we gonna ban red and yellow for catching people's attention too?

Your "strongest" point is where you assert, without evidence, that it'll make people leave trade or ignore PMs. But it's just that. An assertion without evidence. People seem no less likely to respond to PMs (and almost always do) and simply doing /ch who tr will reveal that virtually everyone on the server is still in that channel.

I for one welcome these ads.
They even get me sometimes thinking it's a PM. Good stuff :artist:
