Having ads in purple is sorta the point - People want their ads to get attention, after all. What's next? Are we gonna ban red and yellow for catching people's attention too? Your "strongest" point is where you assert, without evidence, that it'll make people leave trade or ignore PMs. But it's just that. An assertion without evidence. People seem no less likely to respond to PMs (and almost always do) and simply doing /ch who tr will reveal that virtually everyone on the server is still in that channel.
