Hmm, I like Georgia's third one, its pretty cool. The silvery blue is not only clear, but pleasant to the eye.

Using minecraft assets is actually not legal. You can't use any default minecraft textures.

 

Here's mine. They may not be final just yet but these are my first designs. First design is a simple transparent design as you had asked for, and the second design is with the town of Apollo in the background. @MCHelix3000 sorry for not asking permission earlier, I just went around looking for good pics and thought that Apollo looked best :p. So, without further ado...

Yea for that one the background wasn't made by me, I just looked up 64x64 backgrounds on google and that came up. Didn't realise it had to be a completely original image?

 

Every image is copyrighted by default. You can't use copyrighted imagery. You can only use imagery that explicitly uses a free license. AKA, a "do whatever you want" license.

 

Ah alright, I'll change that one when I get home later then.

 

I was referring to the fact that your image and the one I linked are more or less exactly the same.

 

If you look at both of them closely you can see that they aren't the same. Look at the fonts on both. Hers has a C that is more curved with a flat white color while the other is more straight/blockish with a pearl effect on it. Only thing that is the same between the two of them is the background if that's what you're referring to.
