I've been offline for a while and I came back today to find the chest which had all my nstars in it unlocked and empty. I'm fairly certain it was locked when i left. My town is still mine, all my other locks are intact. I'm confused. There are no lwc removals shown for my town nor me. It's not a big deal. If anyone is able to check logs which might show the history of the chest that would be swell. It's located at x -5596 y 83 z -12894. not sure where to post this, but please just let it be. if anyone can help me, cool, if not, i'm just gonna leave it with this post. thanks edit: town name is minecraft
Your first sentence said it all. If you're inactive for a while and don't touch your chests, they'll be cleared at the annual clearing
Someone probably did a LWC removal on your nstar chests for just the nstars. Do you live in Foix? Because I took out a lwc for a nstar chest. xD
Probably, someone found out it was a nstar chest and raided it. I’ll give you some starter money again. :3
How long have you been gone... the LWC removals are based on time... basically if the are older and weren’t updated at the purge then they disappear. I have fallen victim to this as well... best thing to do is keep an eye on the annual purge and make sure you update all you LWCs. It’s possible to have someone do a log block to see if anything comes up. Good luck but I hate to tell you the nether stars are likely gone...
If @CamS99584 would like me do do a Log Block I'd be happy to, just tell me the cords and unlock the chest for me (If the Nstars were removed by someone more than 7 days ago, it won't show up as Logs clear every week)
Okay I have the logs for that chest specifically, there are only 4 shown logs that relate to @CamS99584 taking and storing Nethertars, all other logs must have cleared as it has been past 7 days. Also this was only from today as you can see the date that changes were made is 01/03/18 Logs:
Assuming cam is someone allowed to access the chest, odds are your locks were cleared in the annual lwc removal. Unfortunately, there is no way to undo this or get anything back from it. Sorry.
ive been offline for several months. but my town is still mine, no lwc removals have been submitted. the way it looks to me is that either i forgot that i spent 9 stacks of nstars, or a member of the staff team stole them, thinking i had quit.
If you haven't interacted with your nstar chest for 6 months, then your lock on the chest was automatically wiped after the December LWC cleanup.
To simplify what Marsh said, If you touched that chest anytime between June and December, it should’ve stayed locked
well other locks shouldnt be wiped if person touches any locks - eg door or chest - if he did touch few months ago on other locks the Nstar chest lock should be been locked - i am not sure why its was unlocked
no, i have over a hundred locks and only the 1 chest is messed up. if anything that one was the last one i touched
ps. i wanna thank forum staff for allowing this discussion to occur. i realize there have been some unflattering things said, but i'm happy we've been able to discuss this.
You realize everything ever on the server is in permanent logs. Especially things like staff unlocking chests and taking things from them like that. I highly doubt a staff member unlocked your chest and stole your nstars.
