Hello, I'm elite+ in rank, and when I tried to mine a mule spawner with a non silk touch pick in skyblock, I lost the spawner. I did this after reading forum post in general from Jun 2018 that said this was already a feature. While a mule spawner isn't that great, it is one less spawner I had to trade in for another one. Please confirm this is now no longer a feature for ranks above elite+ as stated in that post that is closed. skyblock-dont-require-silk-to-drop-spawners.176513 #post-984547 When I put in the link it complains, so I listed the details.
Pretty ambiguous reply. Obviously I lost the spawner, so is there another post to remedy someone else having a similar issue, returning after an extended break, post stating you can mine a spawner and not lose it and then the opposite being true?
http://prntscr.com/m484at In this screenshot you can see that @pokeball92870 confirms you are able to pick up spawners on your island as well as on other player's islands so long as you have the coop status without the silk touch enchantment. However I think I know where you went wrong in a way. Did you use a diamond pickaxe? This is needed to mine spawners, however unfortunately it is not stated in the section about not needing silk.
I have confirmed with a member of staff that a diamond pickaxe is required to mine a spawner and have it drop as well as the Elite+ rank. I've now changed this to allow all pickaxe's the ability to mine and pick up spawners, as long as you have the correct rank. (Elite+) @tekblade for your loss, I've generated a fresh spawner key in your account! Good luck
a_man21 had me check /cc I also logged fully out, restarted minecraft and rejoined to see if that made is show up, nothing listed there.
I have been online for the last several hours, nothing has showedup, and I logged out 3 times so far to see what happens.
Watch them get an Iron Golem spawner, just watch xD @andrewkm Also what happened all your medals and your premium tag lol
